Nice spot, country pub with nice outdoors with plenty of sun. We were served quickly, but really disappointed with the food - we had Sunday lunch, trio mixed meat - we struggled to tell the difference between the pork and turkey. Not much on the plate, was already cool when served, and overall very disappointing for £18. We were never asked how our food was, during the meal or when the plates were being taken. Overall, disappointed - won't be going again.

We were served by Courtney who was as her name suggests very courteous. She served our delicious food to us with a smile. It was a pleasant experience - well done the Blundell ?

Always nice food and service when I come here. Staff are friendly, there's a nice atmosphere, nice views and reasonable prices

Went here for a birthday meal, as the menu looked good.
We were sat in the bottom part of the pub away from everyone else, close to the kitchen, which was rather noisy, although the kitchen staff were quite entertaining singing away. It didn't bother us, but it might do some other customers.
I ordered creamy mushrooms, I got 2 pieces of toast with 1 mushroom on each and some creamy cheesy sauce, it wasn't brill.
The chicken i had for my main was really dry and didn't really have much flavour. Maybe I just ordered the wrong food for me.
It's a nice looking pub with plenty of outside space and lots of parking.
I would come again, I'll ordered different things.

We went on a Sunday, service was ok. The food was disappointing, the roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, parsnips, weren't the best. Maybe give the Sunday roasts meals a miss and go for the usual stuff, my father's pie looked lovely and he said it was too.

Early Sunday lunch so only 4 stars for atmosphere. It was only just 12.00 so very quiet. When leaving it was much busier. We had roast turkey Sunday lunch. Brilliant, food cooked to how we like it, and my word plenty of it. Care was taken over an allergy one of our party has...thankyou. Really cannot fault it at all. We will be back ...soon.

Beautiful and welcoming gastropub. The food was excellent, and the portions were big. The service was amazing! Thank you Joe for being so professional and helpful! We felt very welcome. It was our second time there, and both times it was a very good experience. I recommend you book before you go there, because it is very popular! Free parking!

Had the 7-hour Slow-Cooked Rib of Beef for £19 and it was inedible. The beef was tough and chewy and there was hardly any meat on it, it was all fat and gristle. Very overpriced. The Yorkshire pudding was also like polystyrene. Would not go back.

Used to go to blundell quite frequently but after my experience today I shan?t be coming back anytime soon, food was cold, staff were rude. I?d avoid if I was you not worth the money anymore unfortunately.

Love going to Blundell Arms such a lovely place to go for a meal. We were served by Nat and Jennie who were lovely and so helpful. I would have given food 5 except for the seabass skin not being crunchie which I like. Only a little thing to note.
Miss the chocolate and rasberry torte which is no longer on the desert menu.
Highly recommend Blundle arms to all for a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
You wont be disappointed ?
Well Done to all staff xx

Best Sunday roast I've had for a long time

Being a near middle-aged white male, I never thought that I would be profiled. Well, that was until today when the "wonderful" servers at Blundell Arms did just that. We have been here before and enjoyed it, so we decided to go again for a Sunday roast. I'm not feeling well, so i went out in a tracksuit and trainers with my wife. We arrive at the pub entrance, and we're ignored for 5 minutes without anyone coming to attend to us. We then had a female server come over and ask if we had a booking. We hadn't booked prior, so we said we hadn't. The server then stopped, looked me directly in the eye, then up and down before saying they weren't taking any walk ins today. As I went to, then just say, okay, no problems, she abruptly interrupted to repeat herself, aiming to make the point I was not welcome. Turns out not only did they have clear tables free but on their website, there were table bookings available so the problem wasn't being fully booked but that my attire didn't suit to their liking so it was assumed I was a type of person. Just out of principle for being profiled in this way, I took my custom elsewhere and didn't book online. Tried to make a complaint online, but no surprises, there isn't a way to do this. My advice is to AVOID, especially if you don't happen to be dressed in a way they will like. My advice to the Blundell Arms is to be careful thinking you are some up market establishment where only certain clientele can come. You are a Greene King pub, and I shouldn't have been judged and profiled because of my attire. Shameful!!
