The food and service were fantastic! The set menu was perfect for a family, and I really appreciated how flexible they were with allowing changes to the dishes. They were very accommodating and made sure we had a great experience.

This restaurant is friendly, welcoming and attentive. We see the same staff each time we visit, the service is good, we always get what we order (no funny business with being given the wrong things) and I really like the atmosphere. We always go as a family, including 2 teenagers, and the kids love it, which is unusual because they are?.teenagers?.if there?s ever the option for a meal out, they always ask to go here. Oh and the portions are big so the staff always pack up the leftovers for us.
Kid-friendliness: Good kid friendliness!

We had a lovely meal there. The birthday song is a little loud and a little long.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's possible but a little tight.

One of the best chinese sit in meals weve had. We ordered: chicken noodle soup, duck and pancakes, cripsy shredded beef. Everything was really nice. Word of advice; request the table next to the fish tank!! Will be returning for a special occasion near Christmas time!

This restaurant used to be a firm weekly favourite for us many years ago, offering fantastic food worthy of travelling for. In an attempt to relive the past, we decided to revisit the now called Peking Palace (formally Summer Palace) for dinner. Alas like so many eateries of today, what a total disappointment. The service was ok however, apart from an inexperienced English girl attempting badly to shred our crispy duck, leaving a plate full of broken mashed bones mixed in with the duck for us to dissect. However, what is far more import which I?m I must share with others, is being fleeced for nearly £100 of hard earned money, for a modest (not indulgent) 2 people dinner, being served nothing short of poor tasteless quality food cooked to a standard on par with a takeaway, but seated. However that privilege wasn?t for free as we were charged a service charge for bringing the food to the table (although it states the service charge was optional, but nevertheless was added to the total bill. Sadly, with the best hopes, we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future and certainly avoid feeling completely ripped off for such an unremarkable meal out that we wished we hadn?t eaten at any cost.

The food was fantastic, one of the best hot and sour soups around. The beef satay was excellent. Super friendly staff so helpful. And there are prawn crackers on the table when you arrive. I would definitely recommend this place. It seemed a little more expensive than most Chinese restaurants, but I think this is for the FREE prawn crackers on the table, and also, probably where it is situated!! The only annoying thing is they add their own TIP on the bill, which annoys the crap out of me as this is the UK, and everyone is paid minimum wage, at least! Not like America, where they have to work for their wages via tips !

The food was genuinely vile. The beef in ginger was chewy and gristly and the taste wasn?t great either tbh, the noodles we bland as anything. Egg fried rice? That?s a joke, didn?t see a single piece of egg in there, but they we died a nasty yellow and it was all coagulated and texturally nasty. And the duck in black bean sauce was WAY too thick and fatty. To top it all off, each dish was barely lukewarm when it arrived and was HUGELY overpriced. Over £37 for 4 things. The rice ALONE was £4.50
