Pleasant walk around the reservoir with a good cafe near the car park 25th indoorand outdoor seating. There are plenty of benches to sit at on the circular route, many with lovely views to contemplate. Car park toilets are functional, but the sooner you are out in the fresh air, the better.

Jumbles Country Park, located on the southern edge of the West Pennine Moors, is renowned for its breathtaking views and natural beauty. This picturesque park features a tranquil reservoir, surrounded by lush landscapes, making it an ideal spot for walking, cycling, and picnicking. Visitors can explore various trails that meander through the area, offering opportunities for birdwatching and enjoying the serene environment. The park's café provides refreshments with scenic views,

Lovely (very busy) woodland area with a beautiful reservoir. Very nice cafe near the car park. Only thing that would have improved my enjoyment was lack of signage on the circular round the reservoir walk, luckily there were lots of local people who helped me and my dog.

Beautiful countryside, you can walk the circumference of the lake clockwise or anticlockwise doesn?t really matter. Takes about an hour. Car park is pay and display but machine had been vandalised, not many parking spaces for a popular place. Small cafe there but it was closed on a Friday afternoon
Dog-friendliness: Great place for dog walking

Lovely walk can be muddy at times, so consider appropriate footwear, especially in winter. i recommend Wellingtons
Toilets: Situated on one side of jumbles opposite the sailing club if that somewhat helps
Dog-friendliness: Lead recommended there are wildlife ducks, geese, stoats, and deer. It's the runners and cyclists who get cross with dogs mainly
Picnic area: Plenty of families picnicing during the summer months
