Myself and a friend had steak frites, with peppercorn sauce absolutely delicious, cooked exactly the way we asked for them! Thoroughly recommend the food here, will definitely be returning.

Fabulous Sunday lunch. There were 6 of us & we had Roast Beef, Gammon & Lamb Shank all dishes were fantastic & the homemade gravy was the absolute best. Great value for money. Service brilliant. Definitely recommend a visit.

Visited the King Geoge pub today, and it was top scores from us. 4 of us up for a family party popped in for a drink and food before the event. Service was excellent, and the food was top dollar. I had the steak frites - medium rare steak cooked to perfection and chips were just delicious. Not a scrap of food was left. Speaks for itself. Take a bow the staff at the Kibg George

What a fantastic pub. I've been in for food a couple of times recently, and haven't been disappointed. Their Sunday roast offer is incredible and the staff are friendly and attentive. Will be returning!

A brilliant pub for Home And Away fans to mix together before the Altrincham games, good spaces outside for seating and smoking area if needed, plus a small car park at the side (if you get there early enough).

Popped in for lunch on Saturday. Really enjoyed the food & great service. Definitely recommend the gammon & any of the burgers. The chunky chips are awesome.

Christmas Day and family fun at the King George. Great atmosphere, with families & friends sharing good wishes at Christmas time. I went with my son, his partner & my grandchildren & we met their friends for a drink & catch up. Always a great start to the festivities.???

Great place for a pre match beer. Friendly staff and good selection of JW Lees beers. 2 minutes walk from Altrincham FC and plenty of on street parking nearby

Well when we first walked in we weren?t sure about the place, it?s huge and was totally dead with a Cpl tables? but we stayed and were so glad we did, it quickly filled up, the staff are absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. We both wanted pie but there was only one left so my husband gave it to and had fish and chips?. We also shared the chicken bites! Everything was to die for!!!! So glad we stuck around! We will be back next time we?re in Manchester! Oh and the food came piping hot!

Wouldn't recommend it. The pub has a pitbull that is left to roam freely around, not very safe. They also claim to do food, yet no food menu on the tables. How exactly are you supposed to order food without a menu?After queueing at the bar for ages, I finally managed to get hold of the only menu in the building, which was not only very limited with choices but extremely over priced for what was there. They also only do food until 2pm, so we felt rushed to choose something.We decided to walk out in the end and found a much better place 10 minutes away.
