Decent enough food until you see the portion sizes- especially considering the price. Absolute rip off unfortunately. I had to have a second breakfast when I got home.

Fantastic food and service, very accommodating to my autistic daughter?s needs, and really made her feel like nothing was an issue when she had some difficulties with her menu choices. It?s all in how things are handled and the kind and friendly approach made all the difference. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, tasty food, would definitely recommend.

Best place for food and Coffee. A must visit place.

Fantastic ambience. Sadly the place was full of wasps. The food was good, but I feel
Somewhat pricey. £50 for 2 coffees, 2 soft drinks and 2 sandwiches is steep even for Mobberley.
We will return as the location is just lovely and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
One thing I would suggest is to get some was repellers or catchers as it?s a bit of a pain trying to constantly bat wasps away whilst eating.

Cute little place with a nice menu, prices were generally ok. My son had a breakfast bap - great size and great taste, he loved it - His girlfriend had pancakes with bananas and Nutella also a great portion and she loved it. I had Avo & eggs which were delicious but came on the teeniest slice of our dough - I hadn't eaten all day so, if you're hungry and you're ordering this, maybe order a slice of toast to go with. Aside from this, friendly staff and lovely location.

Really nice place to stop off on a ride as an alternative to Tatton Park. Wouldn't mind a few more nicer cakes, but food on offer is lovely. Coffee is moderately priced for Cheshire.

Fabulous little find
The breakfasts are stunning!
The sausages are to die for as well as the fluffy tastic pancakes
The only thing I will say is the service could just do with being a little quicker xx

We?ve been to Barnshaw Smithy a few times and generally the food is fairly good the but the service seems to get progressively worse. The staff are generally inept, rude and very unaware of whats going on around them, seriously lacking basically hospitality skills.
We visited mid morning on Father?s Day and can only describe what we witnessed as a dysfunctional circus. As soon as we walked in and sat down we felt like an inconvenience. We were asked to move tables to upstairs, despite there being no reserved sign on the table.
The waitress said she?d be up in a couple of minutes. We waited upstairs for around 15 minutes, during which nobody came to even take a drinks order. I then went down to the counter to order, and the sour faced waitress told me ?you won?t be getting this for a while as I can?t put any orders through the kitchen for at least another 10 minutes?.
I politely accepted this, sat down again and a few minutes later the table next to us were served their food (despite arriving much later than us). At this point we got up and left and noticed that we weren?t the only ones to do this.
Seriously lacking proper management and incapable of dealing with a more than a handful of tables at one time.
Can?t seem to get the basics right unfortunately, not somewhere I?ll be going again.

Don?t usually do many reviews but wanted to take the time to do this one. Firstly the venue, food and drinks are great. But in particular wanted to give the staff a shout out.
Unfortunately once I?d eaten and had my coffee I fell very ill, chest pains, very lightheaded and sick. I didn?t get the name of the one particular girl but she was so accommodating and made me feel so comfortable after an embarrassing experience lying on the floor outside!
Will be revisiting when I?m back up here.

Took my dad here yesterday. had simple food, poached eggs for me, Welsh Rarebit for dad. Both where lovely, well presented and fantastic service. the lady who looked after us told us about her grandmother having the same illness as my father, sorry we didn't get your name but you made the visit special, my dad kept talking about you all the way home. Thank you to everyone there who made a simple meal feel special.
