Fantastic food choices. Whole group was served speedily, we rang our order through as we were a group of 12. The serving staff were extremely attentive and keen to ensure everyone had what they needed and even responded to some last minute requests for extra food or drink to the table.
The food was piping hot and I actually ended up sharing some with the greedier members if out group as the portions were very generous for the 3 for £20 'small' plates.
Beautifully poured Guinness . Smallest critique just remember which was the Guinness zero if serving both to the table.

Went for some food after a walk around Dovestones yesterday, a few of us had the steak sandwich & others had a sunday roast. If was all superb. Beautiful garden outside where we sat in the sunshine. Lovely !

We had a lovely meal at the Clarence. Staff were super friendly and accommodating for our large group including young children. Food was lovely, well worth a visit if you?re in the area

I go with my mum and also take a group of fell runners. The food and service are great and the menu is updated. The new vegan Wellington is so good. Even descending with a party of 30 or so they make us feel right at home. The Guinness is spot on too!

Lovely food, quick and efficient service. No complaints at all?.even when we wanted to pay individually meaning the lady had to work out 6 lots of meals and drinks, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back ?
