Another excellent meal had today in a warm and friendly pub. Pam and Rhian make you feel at home and very welcome. The food is always excellent, good value for money in picturesque surroundings. Well worth a visit.

Lovely pub food with a great outside area next to the canal. excellent service too particularly Callum, Mike Arron and Jenna. Callum was a great server and made us laugh.

Service was quick because we booked on the App, my husbands meal was ok other than steak a bit overdone. My meal was Hunters Chicken it came missing the grilled tomato and no pea pods but in place shrivelled up rocket (I took a photo but can't attach) I was not informed of this change. We’re a great canal-side family eatery. At The Kingfisher you can watch the narrow boats from the beer garden as you dine in the sun. We’re only two miles from the beautiful Dove Stones Reservoir and have the Fells on our doorstep, so this is a great stopping off point for a refreshing drink or a spot of lunch. We offer a mixture of bar service and table service in a warm, friendly environment.
