Food was inedible due to amount of salt, soups were replaced but still awful. Mains were promised a refund but just eat refused to payout. Almost £60 of food in the bin and no refund is disgusting. I urge the chef to taste food before sending it out to paying customers, and if the chef thinks that food which has more salt content than the sea water is acceptable then they need a new chef with working taste buds!

Best chippy in town. Staff are great! Always great food. I relocated across the country. I always go there when im down visiting family. I hope it has the same owners

A great place I?m a regular here. Very pleasant and friendly staff who offer Fantastic service. Special mention to Cindy Gemma and Kelvin who always make you feel so welcome and it really is service with a smile. Recommend all the menu in particular sweet sour king prawn in batter. with rice . Simply delicious and very plentiful. Rang chef to compliment. Well done The Chippy Bar. Management and the fantastic staff. Paul G.

We use the takeaway quite often and can honestly say never had a bad experience. Food is lovely, especially the salt & pepper mega box!
My kids wouldn't let me order from anywhere else they love it from here.

Spent over £40 on a takeaway tonight and was hugely disappointed. The supposed half a duck was old, hard, cold and inedible. The seeweed may as well have not bothered arriving it was cold and chewy! The chow mein never seen a noodle was swimming in water. I?ve been here previously and it was ok not great however after waiting 2 hours I will not go here again!!

it?s a big NO from me. went for tea tonight. ordered fish and chips or should i say warmed up scraps. fish was cold and the batter was all soggy inside i?d say raw.won?t be going again. yuk!

Last time I was here the chips tasted warmed up not nice, the barn cake was a bit sloppy and crumbly like it had been frozen and defrosted not

Service was excellent but food very greasy. More than it should have been disappointingly. Place also needs a bit of a clean around the customer area.
