cashier were nice and food is good however one of the staff members a man was so arrogant and horrible to my grandma who suffers from multiple mental illnesses. He had lashed out at her when she simply asked about a reduced price. my grandma is not fluent in english hence she did not understand what he was shouting at her he?s lucky she didn?t i would have lashed out back towards him if she understood the rudeness of his behaviour.

Like this store must staff nice friendly but on lady mid 40s Is just miserable time she looked for another job clearly she not happy there but not seen the younger lad that was manger he was so good

Heron food is easy to find as it's facing Asda in farnworth.
It's an Excellent shop!
Very friendly and helpful staff and the prices are very very low and stock levels are good!
I absolutely love this place!
Wheelchair accessable.
Disabled parking and free parking in the Asda car park available.

Farnworth is a Hot spot for shoplifting so it?s a shame there?s a Herons Foods here. If it were anywhere else there would be less shoplifting and less employees getting assaulted by shoplifters. And not to mention the local travelers that come in and mess around in the entire shop making a mess that the employees have to clean up and also stealing lots of things while there at it.Despite all that the staff and management are friendly and they provide a great service. They do try to sell you items at the till area to make extra money by asking every single customer at the till but I don?t blame them their bosses probably force them to reach a certain amount of sales. One bad thing about this shop is that they serve 2 local Homeless men who come in everyday to buy alcohol. These homeless men would beg for money all day then when they get enough change they constantly buy alcohol. The shop shouldn?t let them buy alcohol especially since they have families that they should be supporting the best they can and every employee in there knows their backstory . These homeless men are also bullied / peer pressured into buying alcohol for their ?mates? outside who I?m assuming are barred from the shop for shoplifting amongst other things. But I guess that?s Farnworth for you

We've only just started shopping here recently but the staff are lovely! Really friendly and welcoming. The store itself is quite small and not very roomy BUT it's very clean and extremely tidy (which you can't say about many bigger grocery shops!) Overall, it's a fab little shop.

It's a weird cross between Iceland and a corner shop, the staff talk to each other all the time on headsets which can be a bit disconcerting when you're visually impaired and they're serving you at the same time.
