Went Friday evening ..sorry to say it wasn't upto it's usual standards. We often eat here and this is the first time we didn't enjoy it. Starters was calamari on what I can only describe as ok...was a overcooked and was lay on 3 or 4 shreds of lettuce..poor presentation. Mushrooms on toast...more holes in the toast than actual.toast. Mains was mushroom pasta with hallomi cheese. Sauce was very watery and tasteless. Husband had chicken skewers with chips and salad...again chicken was tasteless...very disappointed. Sorry guys but a very dissappointing evening..

Came in for an afternoon drink after having food somewhere else but heard the cocktails were pretty good so we decided to give it a go.
On entering got immediately seated by one of the lovely gentlemen, asked if just drinks were ok and he said of course. The ambience of the restaurant was great and we got a lovely table by the window - it wasn't too crowded or too loud.
After being seated with the menus (he explained the other side had the drinks) we got approached by a blonde female server who asked our drink order (I had the Strawberry Daiquiri and my partner had the Rum Punch) and the drinks arrived about 10 minutes later. As she was leaving we also asked for a dessert menu. The drinks were delicious and very well prepared.
After about 5 minutes we received the dessert menu - we were over halfway done with our drinks until we managed to flag the server again to actually order the dessert as she was coming up to the table next to us. We ordered ice cream and were going to order another drink but she never asked and left before we could. We finished our ice cream (which was lovely and really well presented) and had to flag down the server again for the bill - it took another 10 minutes for her to come up and give us the bill after we finished the ice cream. After which we sat there ready to pay (already finished drinks), for at least another 5 minutes and the server came up to pick up our drinks glasses and my partner ask to pay. She asked card or cash, and after saying card my partner commented he could see her on her phone in the back whilst we were sat there waiting. At which point a lovely male server came up, asked if we paid already and immediately brought us the card machine upon finding out we haven't and offered us a shot on the house for the wait.
We spend 45 minutes waiting for one drink and some ice cream, we were hoping to get a few more cocktails but the wait put us off, which is a shame as we both really wanted to try the Caribbean Pina Colada.
We paid the bill and left and as we were leaving the restaurant all the other staff were swift and courteous.
This would have been a 5 star review however the blonde girl server really let us down, which is a shame as the cocktails were top notch and we really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant.

Ordered through Uber Eats, so cant speak on Service/Atmosphere, but the food was very mediocre. Grilled Hallumi was good (literally just grilled cheese), and Tiramisu was decent (seemed shop bought though - looked much too uniformed to be home-made), the rice & peas and the jerk chicken were honestly awful. Rice & peas was literally just boiled rice with peas & spring onion thrown in, and the jerk chicken was so dry, like I took one bite and spat it out level of dry. and the sauce was horribly sweet ??? with no spice ??? I hate wasting food, but the chicken with rice & peas ended up in the bin. I guess different people have different tastes, but if you like authentic Caribbean, this isnt it chief.

10/10! Definitely recommend if you are going out with friends or family, the atmosphere was just amazing they had a great singer on playing all types of music ? the staff very attentive especially Dionne she kept coming back asking us if we wanted more drinks when we had the bottomless brunch, we need more staff like this especially anywhere that does bottomless brunch and don?t even get me started on the food, The jerk Chicken absolutely amazing, defo worth the price we paid about £40 pp and we had 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, starters and mains. 100% will be returning ????

Consistently Excellent - A Great Place to be??
Tortuga never lets us down. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly ? a special shout out to Dionne, who was fantastic on our latest visit. Service is quick no matter how busy it gets, and the atmosphere is spot on, especially with the live music. The food is consistently delicious, with a great range of options including both on the bone and boneless chicken, which is a thoughtful touch. Prices are very reasonable, making it perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic dining experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was spot on ? great ambiance and music that set the perfect mood. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and impressively quick. The food was absolutely delicious, exactly as expected and full of flavor. Overall, a great spot for anyone looking for a smooth dining experience with top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Wow! We came in tonight for a family meal and I have to say I was very impressed. Having seen the prices I wasn?t expected much from the food but how wrong was I!!
That was the cheapest and best quality fillet steak I have had in a very long time and cooked to perfection. I have paid £10 more for worse steaks in other restaurants.
All our plates were cleared, everyone enjoyed their food and the staff were polite and attentive.
Deserts were delicious and only £4.99!! Absolute hidden gem of a place.
