Convenient and close to the main road, it has air pump and vacuum cleaner for cars.

Every single diesel pump leaks diesel all over your hand whenever in use, also, the staff are some of the rudest, laziest and unhelpful people I've ever met.

It would be great if it wasn't for the fact that there is always at least one pump not working, not giving a receipt or even that the petrol station fully coned off(closed) even during the opening times. The problem is that there are not really any good alternatives in the area without the need of travelling at least an extra 10 minutes.

Definitely not open as stated on Tesco website and Google Maps. 21:00 on a Tuesday and definitely filling station closed. I think the store was closed too. Wasted trip to get fuel for an early start tomorrow.

Usually, I come to Tesco just because of the location, but now is definitely included an extra reason - a friendly and patient staff Luke!
As a new driver, it is our first time to refill petrol, and Luke is very patient and helpful to teach us how to use the machine and payment system as well.
Wish Tesco senior management could read this review, Luke definitely changed my impression towards Tesco. Not just a merchant for transaction. He treats us as friends and feels warm in such cold weather today. Highly appreciated!

no gas but cones. What's going on?

Not a great petrol station. Loads of clubcard readers don?t work and aren?t repaired, have mentioned to staff several times. At a certain time, i think 8pm, they shut the outside filling lanes with cones even though there are sometimes queues. Slow to react to receipt paper running out so you Pay at Pump but then have to go in to get a receipt anyway (needed for work).
They updated the payment system on some pumps recently which was the perfect opportunity to go for Contactless payment systems like other supermarkets as lots of people just use their phones to pay now and don?t bring cards, but this wasn?t done. The closing time is meant to be 10pm which is already not great, but staff leave and lock up at 9:45/50 to get back into the supermarket to finish their shifts for 10 so you can?t fill up, which again isn?t right and is not just a ?one-off?.
This review is based on 3.5 years of using this petrol station not just a few weeks. No improvements, if anything, it?s just going downhill.

Easy to get in and out. No problems whatsoever. I prefer Droylsden petrol station, to any other

Well maintained, but 2p a litre more than at Morrisons & 5p a litre more than at Essay on Ashton Old Road. As with so many things at Tesco, every little helps (just not the consumer).

Friendly staff and easy-to-use pay-at-pump and get points and receipts. Have to pay a minimal amount for tyre pressure gauge, unlike some which are free, so make sure you have an assortment of coins

My 2nd favourite Tesco petrol station. The one in Stalybridge is built on Bolton's Yard, the poem about which is the inspiration for Coronation Street.
