Having contacted Shrigley Rose & Co to arrange an initial valuation of my mother-in-laws
3 bedroom detached property in Cheadle Hulme I left contact details with John and was advised to expect a callback from their valuations team.
After no callback within 7 days I again contacted their office to be told there was no record of my request. Claire apologised then advised upon quickly checking the property on Google that unfortunately this did not meet their database criteria of properties listing at £1,000,000 +
and as a result the property would be therefore better placed with another local agent.
Upon further checking their currently listed properties only approximately 30% of these properties actually exceed £1M.
Subsequently If your property is sub-million then as they suggest best to contact an alternative agent in the area.

We bought our beautiful home from Shrigley Rose and they have been beyond exceptional. The agent who showed us the property was lovely and genuinely passionate about the space. She took her time, gave us ideas about the different ways we could use the house and clearly knew the house well. John supported us throughout the purchase process. He was available, constantly calming and professional and went the extra mile on several occasions. I don?t plan to move home for years because the Shrigley Rose team have helped me find my dream property but if I ever do find myself on the move again, they?ll be the first people I call.

Opting for the best agent on day one really drives the success of the whole process. We took a chance on Shrigley, as they gave us the impression they would deliver a relatively more premium service v other local agents.
The house was photo staged by Shrigley (Grace & Amy) and we went to market with a strong pricing strategy that yielded an amazing level of interest. We had just shy of 20 viewings booked in for the first weekend and sold our home immediately, at a price we were really happy with.
They also worked hand in hand with our solicitors to drive the process through, which was extremely reassuring.
We have to give a personal shout out to Amy - very experienced, proactive and highly communicative. We never felt like we were any trouble and Amy always returned all of our calls.
Shrigley are an impressive outfit who go the extra mile in certain areas which helped us get it right first time round.
Very happy and we would highly recommend.
