What a day, thankyou Aeron for making it special. Today we held Dads funeral at the Ashlea as it was his Friday favourite for fish and chips with Mum. Aeron always served them so it was apt he was on shift today. The food was great and service from Aeron made it really special. We shall be forever grateful. See you soon

Visited with friend at lunchtime.Good and varied choices on menu, from full meal to light lunch. Served by Josh and Aeron,friendly and did not rush us.Checked we were enjoying our food. Nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Deep fried squid starter £7:00 for 6 thin 5cm squid pieces, 10 cm of pea shoots, lemon wedge, and small pot tartar sauce. Would have gladly paid half for it and felt short changed. While I'm here all three small sauce pots throughout the meal badly chipped, didn't affect the meal but indicates a low quality threshold.... read full comment
