Very disappointing, service shocking not enough staff. Queues very long for the carvery plus waiting time for drinks, won't be going again would not recommend.

Visited here recently for breakfast. All you can eat buffet. Food was hot and well cooked. The tables, plates and cutlery very clean. Large private car park. Worth a visit.

Only been for breakfast and on each occasion, we've been happy with what we've had. The only thing I'd caution on is if you want something specifically or consistently, as these are the areas that this Toby struggles with. Sometimes the eggs are runny, sometimes they're hard. Sometimes there's pancakes, sometimes there isn't. Last time we went (which prompted this review), they had no gravy for the breakfast Yorkies.. which kind of renders them inedible as they're just dry, crunchy Yorkshire puddings.
The sausages tend to be the best bit and the bacon has a nice flavour, not overly salty. All associated wet (beans, chopped tomatoes & sauces) are generally good. The hash browns are always on the more over-baked side of the spectrum, but again, that's a preference thing I guess.
All in all, for £7.55/7.99 at the time of this review and in general, it's a really worth while, value for money expenditure, you can eat as much as you can and you walk away feeling full. I just wish it was consistent with what was on offer as it can be kind of a let down when your favourite breakfast item is either not cooked as well as usual or completely absent.

Food was very good apart from the Yorkshire pudding had been under the heat lamps too long and was hard. There was not much interaction with the waitress but was good during the times she was there

Don't go for breakfast.
I've heard others say they've been here for dinner and liked it, but I went for breakfast and it was awful. Advertised as a breakfast buffet, but very limited selection (no pastries/fruit/yoghurt, etc), and the fried breakfast items looked and tasted like they'd been warmed-up from yesterday. Coffee was in filter pots but tasted like instant coffee. Wasn't busy, but still had to stand and wait around 8 mins for eggs to be replaced, during which time the very grumpy member of staff did not acknowledge us or explain whether or not new eggs were coming. Same member of staff seemed annoyed to be in work and did not make customers feel welcome at all.
Wouldn't come back here for breakfast even if it was free.

2 younger women behind the bar were very unprofessional and judgemental that?s why the atmosphere is so low, but the older woman serving us was lovely and very friendly

Service wasn?t great, tables not set missing cutlery and dirty napkins, manager forgot to order drinks, then staff forgot cutlery despite asking, then towards the end of the meal as we were finishing our desserts, the manageress came over and said indirectly to staff loudly they?ve got 15 minutes to finish the food, we got the bill leaving some dessert . Three of us upgraded to king size But got no additional meat, so there is no point. Ordered pigs in blankets Mac and cheese and it came with chicken goujons on top.
Great when you?re spending 140 quid and then afterwards, have the cheek to ask us for a review

food was lovely but a member of staff was absolutely rude when my mother asked for pigs n blankets on her carvery ?we aint a charity case? RICKY his name was n refused us more water cause i had a bottle opposite me seeing im pregnant! cheek of it! couldn?t even get our order right either twice i had to go back to bar for him to understand are order absolute prick of a bloke!

I went Wednesday 12th February, party of 7, most of us had a poor experience, 4 out of the 7 had the carvery, the carver had a bad attitude, it was clear he didn't like his job, the meat was cut extremely meagre, when one of our party pointed this out, they was basically told like it or lump it? The veg was warm and we was scrapping the barrel trying to get the bits from the bottom, we came in November and enjoyed the experience, but sadly this place as nose dived, it's a shame, but we won't be visiting again until customer service and food standards improve

Went for the 4.99 breakfast promotion but staff unaware of the t&cs even after being shown. Asked to speak to a manager who was very unprofessional when he came over ?wish they would stop doing these promotions? in front of a queue of customers. Maybe they need to do promotions to compensate for the lack of service you deliver
