Nothing wrong with the stock and actually great value, but customer service is an absolute shambles. 1 person behind the till taking a long time to search for a parcel (whilst there was a growing queue) another staff member ignoring the fact there was a queue and walked off , no communication to cover or anything like that just terrible customer service

Wanted on two occasions to order on line to pick up from local store . However the charge a fee of nearly £5 to collect? Just do not understand why unless the are collecting the staff wages through this for office staff . It?s a rip of when you can just walk to the store .

Absolutely disgusting customer service by the, I'm assuming manager upstairs, she obviously deems herself of higher stature than her customers, after politely asking for some alternative sizes, she huffed and called another member of staff, and after we had tried the trainers her little run around boy had gone doing something else, again, she was the only member of staff my husband could find to give her the shoes that didn't fit. You'd have thought he'd asked her for something totally out of her pay grade with her huffs and eye rolls. Too good to get trainers from the back and too good to put back the ones that didn't fit, giving us dagger stares because I had commented about her rude customer service. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to buy from here as i needed something last minute but I, nor any of our family will ever buy from this place again - sort your staffing issues Sports Direct!

Was looking at outdoor shoes, asked someone for assistance, he said he would send someone over, 15 minutes no one showed. Store dead and staff just standing around chatting. Will never shop at this store again. When I left told staff member about my complaint and he could not care. Pathetic customer service!

Absolutely shocking service. Asked for 2 sizes in shoes that didn't fit so went and asked for a bigger size and was completely ignored and went and helped someone else who asked for help after myself. To be quite frank that was quite rude

I come to the Bury store quite often, staff are always pleasant & helpful,at the weekend I bought a pair of walking boots , sadly my first excursion out in them they let water in :( so back to The Bury store I went - apologies & please have a look for an alternative boot or accept a refund , so I have to say a productive & pleasing visit again with this branch , which is always well stocked & a pleasure to visit - tku

In my assessment of the store, it is evident that they have some commendable aspects, such as a well-organized layout and an exceptional team of workers. Undeniably, the staff appears to be highly trained, distinguishing themselves from other Sports Direct locations I have frequented. Hence, I must acknowledge their professionalism and give credit where it's due, awarding them 5 stars ??????????.However, the review takes a critical turn when discussing the issue of refunds. Regrettably, this aspect significantly tarnishes the overall shopping experience. As a dissatisfied customer, I had an unfortunate encounter when attempting to return trainers purchased online. Astonishingly, despite the fitting issue being attributable to a foreign size, I was informed that only credit notes were provided, leaving me disappointed and perplexed.The refusal to offer a proper refund for an online purchase that resulted in ill-fitting footwear is an unfortunate display of inflexibility in the return policy. Notably, I was also informed of a £4.99 return postal charge for this subpar resolution. Such a response is questionable, as it is unbecoming of a store that prides itself on professionalism and customer service.Consequently, my dissatisfaction reached a tipping point, leading me to procure my trainers elsewhere, thereby detracting significantly from my overall shopping experience. I find it imperative to rate this store with only 1 star, reflecting the inadequacies in their approach to customer satisfaction and the apparent oversight in addressing such concerns. It is crucial for the establishment to reevaluate their refund policy promptly if they aspire to restore customer confidence and loyalty, thereby potentially earning a more favorable 5-star rating in the future ?

Went in Sports Direct Today to buy some trainers they were reduced from £130 to £70 but because there was a odd size pair of trainers(one was 10 & one was 11) The manager reduced them to £30, Really impressed with the Manager and his customer service skills.The store is huge, Lots of staff on hand, extremely well stocked rails and lots of makes, brands and something for everybody, great parking on the carpark 5?

Looking in the Bury store for mens trainers & trying various makes(Nike Adidas Aisics) I stumbled across Karimor Duma they're more comfy than any of the above and look really good in dark blue/ lime green eyelet trim & white soles For general dossing and pootling about town At £29.99 down from £60 would recommend
