When I visited the store the staff member made me and my Dad feel welcome . He was really helpful towards me and took his time, he did not rush me at all, which I appreciated a lot. He really went out of his way. As well as this, he advised me on frames which weren?t good for me (as I asked him about them), he stated the reason why too which I liked. Furthermore, whenever I asked him out of two frames which he thinks suits me more he would tell me . In addition to this, when I narrowed it down to two frames which I liked the most, I asked him which he thinks are better, in which he replied saying he can have his opinion but it?s what I like , this was nice of him as he was considering my needs a lot. I would highly recommend Specsavers, Bury.

Called on a Sunday at 2pm to have new lens fitted. The store was so busy people were standing up everywhere. Picked up my lens an hour later and they were wrong. The order was right, apparently, but couldn?t see properly through one of the lens. My sight was actually better without the glasses then it was with the new lens prescription. Im asking for a refund and going to another optician who hopefully is more capable of doing a correct eye test

Excellent service. Staff all very organised, Optician best I have ever had. They do not try to sell the expensive glasses, its your own choice. Happy customer ?

on behalf of my elderly father who was not aware of a £50 charge for his DVLA eye test - never made aware of it when booking and not made aware of it prior to the test. When I raised this after the fact on his behalf - a meagre apology and no idea why he wasn't told is the only response I got......tell the guy who had to adjust his weekly shopping to accommodate this chunk of unexpected spend ........Specsavers - try being honest and advertising this rate on your website - try being open, genuine and honest. JUST TRY HARDER. SHAME ON YOU.

Myself and my fiancé went for joint eye tests with a view to buying new glasses. I chose a new pair that I wanted but my fiancé felt pressured into buying something and left without ordering anything. We decided to use another opticians and requested the nhs voucher which my fiancé is entitled to because of type one diabetes. I have to say that our treatment has been awful. I called ten times and was fobbed off, saying that the optician was too busy to email the voucher. After 24 hours and three more phone calls, I asked to speak to a manager to register a complaint. Less than 30 minutes later, the voucher had been emailed to us.I give Specsavers Bury, 0/10 for customer service. They are pushy when trying to sell you something, but when you need them for something, they don't want to know. Think carefully before visiting this opticians. I've been a customer for three years, but unfortunately I won't be back.

I visited the store for a new eye test in June, I've been back numerous times as I need replacement glasses for work, but on the numerous occasions I've been, it's too busy, noisy and kids running around, staff too busy to notice you are there, I understand that lots of people do on try on glasses etc but ones I have wanted to try on are absolutely filthy. So for now I'll keep my 3 year old glasses.

They don't have an in-house glasses fitting service so it takes a week to get a new pair. It's better to go to arndale who will do it the same day

Had a good experience from having my eye test, to choosing new frames to collecting, all the staff I interacted with where fantastic, helpful with no pressure attached. Will see you next year.

absolutely fantastic!! Beth and Lee helped me today and cannot recommend enough. Amazing with children and helped with getting pram in and out of building without being asked, so so friendly and helpful with any questions. Had two pairs of glasses made within the hour!! so so impressed and will be coming again 10000% :)

My experience the last couple of times hasn't been good . The place is too busy and the wait is very long , too many staff members some just standing around doing nothing. One chinese guy who works there comes across really arrogant and talks down to the customers, I felt he was rude and patronising . I will probably change opticians and go elsewhere .

Very busy but despite the hectic atmosphere, staff were prompt and professional. The optician I saw was so happy and enthusiastic you'd think he'd just won the lottery!

Bought two pairs of glasses at Bury store. Both visits were quick and professional. Friendly and informed staff on both visits..thanks to Paul and Amie ( who fixed my hearing aid whilst I collected my spare pair of glasses ).Thank you Specsavers Bury...
