The grocery section of the store is very strange. Especially the bakery section. Every time I buy bread, I ask them to slice it, but they refuse to cut it, constantly giving me different excuses, as if I'm asking them to split the atom. It would take less time if he cut the bread before they can come up with an excuse. I haven't seen anything like this in the other M&S food halls I've been to yet. They're interesting.

I went in today and did two seperate transactions. I tried to get a receipt the first time when I bought the bags but was unable to as the screen went off fast after I had paid. When I was walking out of the store a lady came out and said I didn?t pay for the bags. I was shocked and I even said I?ll give you a pound for them but I had just paid for them
So check the cameras. She claimed I paid off my phone but I didn?t. She was rude. They didn?t stop me from leaving the store she just walked away but I sat there waiting for long. Very disappointed with this staff member. I don?t usually shop at m and s but this will be one reason why . Sort your staff out.

Regular customer at M&S Bury Food hall.
Always an excellent range of products available, at reasonable prices.
The in store bakery is excellent.
The store staff/team are always, polite, helpful & professional. Highly recommended.

I?m just an everyday customer, only wanted something for lunch and some cookies (never available anymore).
Your staff are extremely rude, one of which decided to follow my partner and I out of the store obviously thinking we were on the rob! The absolute cheek!
Will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Went to the cafe today waited over 30min for my order there was alot of very fatty bacon on my roll definately not worth the wait .I expected much better quality from M n S.

This is quite a large store with a food hall department. Good range of clothing and some homewares.. It's in the middle of the Rock, Next to the Range. Parking is either in The Rock carpark, or the Millgate.

Today, I popped into the cafe M&S with my wife and daughter.
Whilst I found a table, my daughter went to select a sandwich then joined my wife in the queue to pay.
At the service counter my wife ordered a bacon bap, an omelette bap, tea for one and two coffees.
My daughter and wife then joined me at our table with the drinks and the sandwich.
On unwrapping her Prawn sandwich my daughter noticed that it was 'out of date', dated the of January 3rd and should have been consumed before or on that date! Needless to say, the Praw sandwich was politely exchanged for a 'Fresh one'.
Whilst we drank our drinks and daughter ate her ? sandwich, my wife and I waited patiently for the arrival of our food, the bacon bap and omelette bap.
We waited and waited, then 25 minutes later from ordering, the 'Baps' eventually arrived.
'Both our baps were delicious', but all our drinks were long gone!
Although the cafe was busy, we thought the length of time we waited was poor.
We expected better from Marks and Spencer.

I was deeply embarrassed when a pasta sauce jar broke in my shopping trolley, spilling its contents all over my clothes and the surrounding area. However, I am incredibly grateful for the assistance of two kind individuals, one of whom was named Nicky, who immediately came to my aid. They graciously helped me clean up the mess and gather my belongings, making me feel much better about the situation. I am truly appreciative of their exceptional customer service and believe that more people like them are needed in the world.thank you
