Called in to Clarks today looking at childrens shoes, the young lady who served us couldnt do enough for us.She was friendly and checked for all sale shoes in our granddaughters size and then ordered them for us with free delivery to the house. An absolute credit to the store.

Dreadful.Booked online for a first shoes fitting appointment.Arrived to the appointment and the staff member was very quiet and didn?t speak to my son or even try to interact with him.He was measured which was great, I then asked to try a few pairs of shoes that I liked that were on display and the girl said she will go and see what they have available.She came out with 2 pairs of the most basic shoes they had on display (they were just plain blue) and told me that?s all they have. I asked if they can order any others into store for me to try and she said they can?t , they only stock a few styles in the infant shoes.What?s the point in wasting my time and making an effort to visit the shop on the high street if you are going to make me order them online to my house and then have to send them back? Why even offer the first shoes fitting as a service.And you wonder why shops are closing down because people are buying online instead.Not worth the hype at all.Will probably blame covid or Brexit.Very disappointedWent to the sketchers shop instead and bought some there !
