I am 17 years old I had my college I'd and card to show proof of age I was spoken to by a very rude woman behind the till who told me I could not have my ears pirced bearing in mind I had them done a couple of weeks before this,I will be telling people I no not to get there pircings here as your customer services is piss poor thankyou

My daughter has begged me for the last year to get her ears pierced, so I decided to get them done for her bday, she was so excited, we went to Claire?s to get them done, the woman came out the back with the piercing equipment, she didn?t even say one word to my daughter, she pierced her ears and walked of, she was so miserable, she literally didn?t say one word to my daughter, I paid the £90 quid, she passed me the receipt and walked back into the back and didn?t even say a word to me, she was so awful , it was like she was mad at us for interrupting her day

Absolutely disgusted today. So last time I went in there I bought three packs of earrings and didn't want to spend any more than that, but when I got to the counter they told me it was a special offer of three free things. Altogether the earrings I bought came to twenty pounds, but because of the special offer I ended up spending FIFTY pounds. So today, knowing this I went back and was determined to not fall for that offer again. Bought hair bobbles and when I got to the counter the woman told me that I get three free. Knowing what happened last time I refused. I am visually impaired and have a white cane when out and about. So when I told her I didn't want the special offer she grabbed three face masks and scanned them in, not thinking I would see her do it. Then she went round the counter to my carer and handed the bag with the masks in to her. Disgusted that she did this behind my back when I had said I did not want it, and that she went and talked to my carer when I had told her what I wanted. Disgusted at the ableist behaviour and I won't be going back. I gave the face masks to my carer to be honest because every time I saw them I felt so furious at the behaviour.
