What's there not to love about the booze barn? And this branch ticks boxes for both booze and bargain and has lovely staff to boot...

The staff are very friendly. There is a very good selection of cheap booze and cheap snacks. They also sell ice lollies, ice cream and some baking goods such as flour and castor sugar.

I have just visited this shop and so thought that I would give it a review. To start with the surroundings aren't great - it is a bit set back, on a busy road and although it does have on road parking, it is hard to get a space. The first thing that you see on entering, is a sign saying on children under 18 can be admitted without an adult. When you go inside there is a limited range of groceries, sandwiches, ice lollies and chilled food. As you walk around the corner you see all the alcohol. There is beer, wines and spirits, with some on offer. E.g. wine half price £3.99 a bottle. It is a bit scruffy inside and not really well presented with stock on the floor. I am not sure that you necessarily get alcohol any cheaper than at the major supermarkets. I would use it if I needed something on the last minute - but otherwise I would go elsewhere, especially as it is difficult to park and when you are carrying heavy bottles, this makes things difficult. Customer service was acceptable - I just didn't like the shop much.
