I recently nipped into Barclays bank in Bury for something pre-arranged over the phone. It turned into a bit of a palava and I ended up missing an appointment that I had in Rochdale because of it.
A couple of days later I received an email survey asking how my visit had gone so I scored low with a brief explanation.
Shortly afterwards I received a phone call from the branch manager (Claire) asking me more about it. She sincerely apologised, explained a bit more about what had gone wrong and what should have happened.
I then received a lovely hamper delivered to my address via courier from Barclays with a note from Claire.
Absolutely gobsmacked, especially in this day & age where customer service seems to be non existent.
Massive respect to Barclays in Bury and the lovely manager Claire ??
Also I have to say that whenever I've been into the branch previously they have always been extremely helpful.

I have been banking with Barclays for over 40 years , originally at Deansgate Manchester with Julie marsh . Now at Bury with Mo , Scott , Katie ,Gemma ,Karen and Julie great helpful team professional pleasant and good in advising services . Never had a issue with this team, helps the local community with fund raisers and helping youngsters ,pensioners alike. Thank You

Having being with Barclays further last 40 years I have been very happy and today 7th I visited Middleton local and spoke with the young lady Katie C who I found extremely friendly, helpful, great listening skills and attending to all my needs changing my ISA.

Went into the bury branch yesterday and dealt with a chap called mo, he was brilliant in the way he dealt with me as I suffer from mental health issues which affects the way i see and do my banking. He was really patient and helpful and didn't once try fob me off like other places do. We need more people like him in this world.
