Had to report to consumer rights today. Argos are terrible. I'd purchased a Samsung 50 inch TV in December 2021. This TV died two weeks ago and would not Come back on. Argos sent an engineer out to diagnose the fault, and it turns out its an internal failure due to manufactures and not my fault. But argos are only offering me a partial refund, so the TV was 479 pounds and they will only offer me 346 pounds refund, they say they have to take off money for the amount of time that the tv was working. How bad is that . Have now opened a case with consumer rights and trading standards. I did try to speak to the manager who's name is glynn at this Bury store today and he was extremely rude, proceeded to explain to me that brexit laws are the reason I'm not entitled to a full refund, wouldn't let me speak even though he asked me to explain the situation to him then he just spoke over me the whole time. Glen also said there was no complaints procedure at this store and I could only complain to him . Absolute shambles. Will wait for there reply now to consumer rights. I will never purchase anything from argos again. Seems they have really bad reviews too I wish I had checked first so beware!! Edit : 05sept. The store manager Glynn had also told me that if I was to accept the partial refund that I would have to physically take the broken tv to the store. I questioned him about this and the fact that I had the tv delivered but he said nope you will have to bring it In. Anyway I sent an email over to head office with my concerns about how this manager has dealt with this whole thing (terribly ). A really nice man named Jonathan rang me back and he confirmed that because I had paid For delivery of the tv that it's upto argos to come and pick it up. Judy Comfirmed that he was being extremely difficult and making it impossible. Really bad service from argos. I'll see this through now with Consumer rites as they've advise me not to take the partial refund as they should be offering more, either a repair or replacement. Do not recommend!!

So I came to get a baby monitor which was 200 pounds. I travelled over 10 miles for it. Not Only they gave a FAULTY baby monitor. Its also says " Opened and Examined " absolutely ridiculous. Now I have to travel again to get it replaced. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.Also DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I told her I paid for a Brand New item, not faulty, opened and Examined item. She goes its not OUR fault. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING.

Avoid this place!Customer service is awful!I purchased three seater leather .It peeled off stitches came off and also its ripped off I rang the insurer and made a claim.The technician came and reported to the company.I received a letter today saying th ey can not do anything!Please don't buy insurance cover for sofas !

Standard argos,however the Middle Aged man on the desk to collect Ebay online orders is the definition of small man syndrome,the worst customer service I?ve ever experienced,even the lovely woman next to him raised her eyebrows as if to say sorry,imagine working with that little man all day? With so many people struggling for work how is he still employed by you guys? Zero customer service.

Unprofessional customer serviceI purchased seater leather sofa instore.I paid £12.95 for the four hours time it was supposed to be delivered today 10.14.00 but it hasn?t arrived.When I rang up they said the staff instore gave me wrong information and haven?t placed the order.I wouldn't recommend this store.Customer service is awful.Store manager was a crazy and unprofessional

This is a very bare argos. It has the absolute bare minimum no jewelry counters or shelves of goods. We got the watch we ordered within 10 minutes as it wasn't busy. Fully wheelchair accessible and plenty of free parking outside

Argos is a destination retail organisation, based on catalogue and online shopping. As such, it fills a role, tho COVID has affected their shopping premise. They have teamed with eBay as a send and receive agency. The Bury store, I have never bought from, an Argos listed item, tho' have ordered online for delivery. I have used as an eBay collection point. Results have been variable! My last two have been positive, swift, efficient, and by pleasant, engaged staff. Be careful on the car park! 45 mins free, but hourly rate is not cheap!??

If there was an option to give 0 star I would do that. Nightmare to get in touch with the store. Or even customer service . Automated system even hangs up on you. Total nightmare.

Disgusting customer serviceStore manager was very rude and in bad mannerI purchased A 22 5 G the battery drained very quickly and I could not charge it in car even with fast charger.she refused to refund.I would not recommend this store especially for mobile phones I had very bad experience in previous phone as well .I spoke to Samsung they said I have as a consumer right to return the phone in 28 days whether it?s faulty or not .I will be going again in 2 days .

Worst company ever expected delivery as told between 7 and 9 am. Chased lots of times to be told before 6pm. No customer care at all as been on the go from 5 am to try and be there to receive at 7 am. Still haven't received by 2pm. Only 1 star as will not post without a star
