What a pleasant suprise. We didn't know anyone who had been, but we wanted to try it and therefore had no expectations. The menu is quite varied despite being quite small and all the fussy eaters in our house easily found favourites to order. Pleasantly, the food was not the usual pub food reheated from suppliers, and we were all more than happy with their food - very tasty! Prices were reasonable too and we got five fed with proper meals and desert for the same price four us the night before in a Chinese restaurant. The only thing to be aware of is the children's lasagne, whilst tasty, is quite small and out picky 12 year old, who has a small appetite, found it too small for her.

Simply the best, travel here.
In my opinion the food was the best in the UK. I once owned a fine dining restaurant however this restaurant with the quality of ingredients their attention to detail and the overall dining experience is unsurpassed.
Go midweek to avoid the rush xx

Really enjoy going to the C&C. Relaxed atmosphere, food is always excellent. Really well organised service, even when it?s very busy. The team there are great. 10/10!

This is a quality place. It could have a more diverse menu. It's a shame you need to book to sit out back but just shows its popularity. Friendly service.

Excellent staff who make you feel at home. Very dog friendly with water bowls in place inside. The food was great and seating comfortable. Recommended.

We used to love coming here as the service is fantastic from Collette & Paula the food went down hill very fast so we stopped going but loved the girls here so we returned yesterday Collette was fantastic as always but the food was disgusting I had burger & chips which was a cheap frozen burnt burger no bacon no dirty chips I couldn?t eat it my husband ordered the Fish & Chips large it was minuscule and the fish was a rectangular frozen fish with 10 super greasy chips. The kitchen is filthy & smells of old burnt fat which we could all taste. AVOID this restaurant it?s over priced and disgusting!

Staff were great, we came on a Friday night and were seated in the back area which was quieter which we appreciated. Not a huge amount of options on the menu which is a shame (maybe more vegan burger options to cater for people) but I really enjoyed my pie, was super tasty.

We had Sunday lunch here with our granddaughter. The food was tremendous and very reasonably priced. Our first time here but not the last. The staff are very friendly and on the ball.
