“The prices on items here are really affordable - unlike the other two charity shops in town who seem to charge more than retail for most items!Very friendly staff who are always happy to help.If you're looking to buy or donate items then this is the place to come.”

“Excellent delivery today, by two wonderfully helpful chaps who already knew of the complexities and frustrations of delivering to the Mill in which I live. They couldn't have been more helpful, so many thanks to them. The shop staff are also great and the stock is brilliant.”

“Nice second hand store with the largest number of DVDs and CDs in the street. I always step in to check what’s new. However, I feel some of the staff is not very happy when they need to control the amount of people that are in. I found lately a member of the staff addressing the situation a bit unfriendly with whoever is not paying attention.”

“And yet another charity shop in Bolton. Seriously, these things are everywhere around Newport Street! Cancer Research, apart from being a bloomin' great charity to support, have actually made quite a good job of this charity shop here on Newport Street. It's clean and spacious, has lovely, smiley staff and an excellent range of puzzles. Everyone loves a good puzzle. Furthermore, there are lots of trinkets here. You know, cups and sauces. Things for your mantelpiece. That kind of thing. The one mistake that Cancer Research have made with this otheriwse great charity shop is the lack of colour coding in the clothing section. I like to walk in to a charity shop and for the whole thing to look like a bloody great rainbow. An opportunity missed, I think.”

“This is a small charity shop but packs a punch with the variety of items, it has, they make great use of the small space they have. Items are very fairly priced, nice friendly staff.”
