The store itself is fine but the gents toilets are a disgrace. There are two cubicles and one has been out of action due to a missing seat for weeks. One of the two soap dispensers is missing, the other is almost always empty, the hand dryer is a relic from the 80?s and takes 5 minutes to dry your hands, and the place stinks.
Do better Tesco!

I do not live in the area but I was visiting family up in horwich and a couple of weeks ago I was helped by a lovely girl on self service when I came in late, I did not catch her name but she was one of two colleagues on self service late at night. The other one was a boy called Connor as she told him she was leaving self service to help me with a product. They were extremely busy.
I remember her having a flower hair clip and very long hair. I was unsure about a product as there was not a pharmacy open and she was telling me tips on how to use the cleansing water I was buying. I then told her I needed it for my eyes which then she tried to find an open pharmacy on my phone for me which there was none. So she said the cleansing water is very expensive and she could help me find a better product so she went with me to find some cheaper eyewash which worked really well and helped my eyes. She took time out of her day to help and even though it was late was kind to me. Just wanted to say Thanks.

Massive Tesco with everything you could need! They have the usual grocery section as well as a clothing section, barbers, cafe, opticians and mobile phone shop if my memory serves. Nothing to really complain about, it is just a massive Tesco.
Loads of parking so you shouldn't ever have an issue there.

A good supermarket overall but just too warm even around fruit and veg areas. The heating must be set ridiculously high, would think they'd be more energy efficient these days! Even staff say it's too warm!

Went through s/scan around 5 tonight a man named Darren was so nice & friendly, he was busy at the end of my shop when it came up assistance, 2 female staff were talking, I waited a bit then I said excuse me, the young one think her badge said teigan looked at me and said WHAT twice, then darren came and sorted it , don't think it went down well me stopping her talking, I've worked in retail 43 years and never ever would say WHAT, she needs some training.

Was made to feel like a thief!!
Purchased 2x dinosaur toys and a few other bits of shopping. Bleeped as went through after paid.
Didn't have receipt and the barcode on the back was triggering it off.
Was being questioned because I didn't take the receipt, asking what till I used and asked if I definitely put it through.
As she was scanning my colleague clubcard a gentleman next to us bleeped as well, she ignored it and I mentioned it to her and she complely ignored me.
After printing my receipt to show I had paid she just passed me the toy back and walked off.
No apology no explanation, just plain rude!!
That is not a good level of customer service.
Treat your customers with respect.
