Been on a weekday -2pm. Waited until 3pm for one of the customer services to deal with a fairly simple issue.Although the staff were polite, extremely slow and asked me to come back another day since it was after 3pm and the bank closes !Very disappointed.

First time going there as I was there for another reason. I was seen by a young brown hair girl who worked in customer service at her desk behind the screen. maybe by the name of Tina but felt she made it up as her badge could not be seen in the angle she was sitting and I was on her right side. I asked for help with a dispute and made me feel she was helping me and I was with my 8yr old boy who has special needs, so was harder to get the right attention as she knew I was distracted by my son. She advised me I will receive an email regarding my dispute but i felt already she did nothing to help and gave me false hope. days had gone by nothing. She fobbed me off so she can finish her shift as I was there just before 5. Unfortunately, I live in Central Manchester not easy to go back and complain on this young girl as I felt let down .

I have rang Santander over 18 times and been in the Bolton branch 4 times over the last 2 weeks. They have decided to close my account which I have no issue with as I don?t want to bank with them as hsbc is my primary bank for me and my business. I wanted to deposit some money in to my Santander to pay an outstanding bill. I?ve tried to transfer money in, it reversed. I?ve was advised by customer service to go into branch and the pay the bill over three counter via cash. Every time I?ve gone in, I?ve been treated like rubbish. They don?t listen, and told me to update my details I told them they?re up to date yet they insisted. Then they told me to leave the money there and they will a try to clear the bill, didn?t happen. they also lost my passport, I had to go back the next day to retrieve it and they were adamant they gave it me back but half an hour later they found it. I?m flying out Monday and this was astonishing. Yesterday when I went into branch I queued up at the counter twice as being misled by staff. A horrible older woman decided she was more superior then me after I?ve collectively waited 45 minutes and pushed infront of me. I politely explained she was indeed behind me. She then said she doesn?t care and shouted in my face and began to verbally abuse me. I had come 3 times In a week and came in my lunch break. Upon her shouting, 4 Older White men joined in hurling abuse at me with the lady calling me ?disgusting? amongst other vile abuse and being extremely confrontational. Then a male customer who was at the counter then came up to my face shouted in my face to shut my mouth numerous times making me feel intimidated and had his hands in my face. Not a single staff member intervened, I was feeling unsafe and threatened. 4 50/60 year old white men abusing me and a woman insulting and shouting, she didn?t ask me, in her head she was more important. She even said to me ?I?m just going to sit here, I know Im behind you to which I said no problem?. I had queued up twice, the second time I didn?t go and push infront as there is a queue for a reason. It?s the principle, all the staff saw me feeling intimidated and verbally abused. I burst out into tears and nobody tried to help or tell the men off. If the staff came over they could have resolved the issue by explaining everyone needs to be served fairly in queue order. I was abused, belittled, intimidated by 5 people over double my age. Everyone should be treated fairly. Everyone who I?ve told is disgusted. The supervisor with curly hair and the woman with dark hair & glasses at the counter could see me visibly upset and did not even explain to the other customers the principle of the matter or try to stop the aggressive abusive behaviour. Today I went in with my sister for the 4th time. The skinny older woman with blonde hair tied back who works in the booths opposite the seating area. She has a very sour face. She said to me today and said ?oh my are you here again? ?you may aswell come to our Christmas party at this point? ?you?re bloody here every day? to which my sister said shes been 3 times in 3 days and she?s sick of Coming, She then responsed ?yes we?re sick of seeing her?. What type of rude, unprofessional staff do Santander employ? She has such a cold, horrible demeanor. How can staff say to a customer ?were sick of seeing you here?. Disgusting old woman. Nobody out of choice wants to come sit in Santander, it?s the worst bank. It?s full of staff who have no idea what they?re doing. Apprentices, cold unfriendly staff, old abusive racist customers, the bank evidently screams outdated snd low class. No security whatsoever. Nobody out of choice decides to come there you silly woman, maybe if you did your job PROPERLY I wouldn?t have to repeatedly come to see your scary sour face. I will be escalating everything, I?m extremely happy hsbc do all my personal and business banking. They?re an amazing bank, great staff, great customer service, help always on hand as soon as you step foot inside and modern.

Open all day Saturday, great, got to speak to someone quickly, great, they had to call the call centre and took 45mins to get through. I should have stayed at home.

Take your money but refuse to talk to you unless you jump through the hoops & wait approx half an hour the when you get through to a human being you?ve ?got the wrong? dept/person!!!

That's a great bank . There are two cash machines outside of branch which you can pay mony (cash or check) into your Bank account ( as well as withdraw money and other functions) in any time or any days . This is a very good opportunity if you don't have money into your account or your mobile bank (from this bank or other bank) temporary doesn't work then you can pay cash into your account or take out cash (withdraw) money from another bank account and pay by cash to this bank account. Usually pay in works in any time and any days. You don't need to wait for branch opening in case of emergency like midnight or bank holiday . That's amazing !! Some of the other banks may have this ability but in this town only this bank and branch support Pay in with exterior cash machine .

Advertised on website as open on a Saturday till 4pm. Just driven 3 miles into town to put in a cheque for my mother to find it closed with a sign on the door saying 'Closed' all day. Please update your website to avoid frustrating your customers, wasting both time and petrol!!!
