The Asian woman who claims to be a pharmacist is far from professional. No compassion or empathy. Just rude. No professionalism. Worst place to go for anything health related

I did work experience here and it was a traumatising experience. No manager was present so the co-worker sent me to a side room to read the fire hazard folder for approx 3 hours. When i tried to get up to call the worker i realised the door was locked. In addition to this, I had unfortunately been told to leave my phone in a separate place therefore leaving me neglected with no way of reaching out. I didn?t want to knock profoundly as i would disrupt customers so I was forced to stay silent and sit and stare at the wall with no contact to workers. I felt like I was invisible and they forgot about me. After this, they then had the audacity to ask me to clean and sweep the store floor which felt really degrading as they had already isolated me.They then had the audacity to ask me to come in the next day.For obvious reason, I did not come in.I unfortunately also had to rate my experience with one star which i don?t think they deserved.PLEASE DON?T DO WORK EXPERIENCE HERE, from a fellow student who wanted to study pharmacy but had now been out off.

Complete waste of time as I have requested a call on numerous occasions for when my priscription is ready to collect but it never happens, when I complain I just get told it's because they've got five staff doing the scripts.

I did my pre reg pharmacist training here.Prior to this I had passed all my exams and been awarded Masters degree in Pharmacy.I worked hard and followed the training manuals. I completed and passed all the competencies for training. This should really be enough to be signed off however the pharmacist for some reason did not pass me, which in turn more or less ended my pharmacy career before it started....So what was the reason to deny me a decent livelihood I had earnt and worked for?Well she said it was because (allegedly) my English communication skills were not good enough to be a pharmacist.... And I needed more experience.Anyone who has been around knows a pharmacist isn't exactly a public speaking job. Alot of pharmacists I've met hardly managed a few sentences while working with them and communication with patients is structured, artificial and to the point: What are your symptoms, have you tried anything, are you on any other medication.. so not rocket science and can be managed by even imported foreign pharmacists who have poor English. So it isn't really a valid reason to fail someone.Training there sucked, I was worked as an over qualified dispenser. Which is common in a lot of community pharmacies even though the tutors are paid thousands to actually train you to be a pharmacist and pass the last exam. But instead the focus was on speed (fast faster) and sticking bag labels exactly straight. It was never really that busy in the shop max 3- 5 people waiting so there was no need to rush and miss chances to double check and look things up.Furthermore apart from myself no one really looked into this dispute and it seems as though they've just got away with it. Which shows what little justice and compassion there is in this profession.

If I could give a 0 I would. Didn't have full prescription in, they said no problem, will deliver on Tue. I phoned up on Tue, still no stock. OK, they can deliver on Thur. Waited in all day. Nothing. Waited in Fri, again nothing, not even a phone call. Had to take a trip in to town to get it myself.
