I visited dfs bolton today with my family. I was really disappointed to see the behavior of the senior staff. GM Angela is sort of dry,cold and disconcerting which made me and my family look embarrassed and small,such behavior was unexpected of her stature Never visiting this place again.

My initial visit to the store was great and the staff was wonderful. My visit to the store today was a different story. The General store manager Angela (who refused to provide her surname when asked) was extremely rude and disrespectful. I'm not sure if it had to do with my familys race or if she treats all her customers this way but had I not already placed an order on my previous visit I would have walked out right away without ordering the sofa I liked. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Won't be coming back to this location.

The staff at the DHS store were exceptional in their approach to the customer. We were treated with respect and patience. It was straight forward and friendly. The settees are good value!!

Great place for a sofa

Ordered a sofa on the 8th March after being told delivery was around 5 weeks.
Its now May, still no sign of the sofa.
Called the call centre over a week ago (you can't directly call the store) to be told the store manager will call you back within 48-72 hours. No call. If I lived closer I would be paying them a visit.
We when were buying it, there was a similar sofa at SCS but 12 week lead time. If we would have known it was going to take this period of time we would likely have ordered from somewhere else.
Reading the rest of the reviews everyone is having similar issues.

Sofa were ment to get delivered today dfs parked the van round the corner pretended to knock on the door took a picture and walked off now left with no sofa for a few days got ot all on cctv fuming never ordering of dfs again

Long story short, we ordered a couch. Were told it would be delivered on a certain date- it never came. It then got delivered many days later. It came absolutely covered in mold, and also had rips and tears. We had to re order the couch and I had to fight tooth and nail with multiple phone calls to get 15% off. All in all, we ordered the couch in December and will not get one until the end of May. Absolutely shocking. The manager, Claire was also quite condescending speaking to us. We have been lied to and treated horribly. Avoid at all costs.

Not sure what there is to review.

The service up to buying the suite was great. The service since has been the poorest ever. Complained about the suite within .3 wks of receiving it. Came out inspected it. Offered to put right. Replacement seat arrived in September. Was worse than the first one. Complained again. Nothing. No response from the manager. Spoke to the RM Claire and guess what?? Nothing since. Absolutely appalling. Suite is less then 6 month old and looks worse than th wine I got rid of which was 17 years old!!! Shit service. Avoid at all costs.
