“Usual format for a Tesco Express at a petrol station. Product availability is a bit hit and miss here and many products associated with Tesco stores are not available. This is an Esso site and petrol is more expensive than usual Tesco and other supermarket petrol stations. Petrol at the Morrison's in Bolton Town Centre, a little over a mile away is around the 106p mark whereas here it is 110p.”

Really pleasant staff and the location is easily accessible with premium products available at a slightly higher price. “I do not live in the area but I was visiting family up in horwich and a couple of weeks ago I was helped by a lovely girl on self service when I came in late, I did not catch her name but she was one of two colleagues on self service late at night. The other one was a boy called Connor as she told him she was leaving self service to help me with a product. They were extremely busy.
I remember her having a flower hair clip and very long hair. I was unsure about a product as there was not a pharmacy open and she was telling me tips on how to use the cleansing water I was buying. I then told her I needed it for my eyes which then she tried to find an open pharmacy on my phone for me which there was none. So she said the cleansing water is very expensive and she could help me find a better product so she went with me to find some cheaper eyewash which worked really well and helped my eyes. She took time out of her day to help and even though it was late was kind to me. Just wanted to say Thanks.”

“Clean, bright store with a good selection of choices across the various ranges. Good quality fruit and vegetables. Lots of reduced offers in the entrance. A number of self service tills or you can queue and be served by a person.The local post office is also located within the store.”
“Yes it's a good little convenience store. They have more or less everything you need and the best thing is they stay open until around 3am so it's great for when you desperately need something in the early hours. It used to be just the garage that you could buy from during the night but not now and there are more and more places that are starting to do this. I think it's a great idea.”
