I love the shop and all its products but today , i was waiting in the line for the boxing day sale and at around 8:55 ( it opens at 9) a woman opened the door and told us all quite rudely that it opens at 10 , although we all knew it opens at 9 , a couple minutes later another member of staff tries to get in the building and we ask them what time it opens, she says 9 . The store did end up opening at 9 and we all came in so i don't see why one of the workers had to come and lie to us ? I don't know whever she was telling us that on purpose or she geniunly thought it opened then but im sure she isn't allowed to say that? She was also quite rude about it

I will not be shopping in this store again as twice i have experienced security following you round the store and standing at the end of the isle while looking at items to purchase now I understand they have a job to do but to literally follow someone the whole time and each isle they go down and just stand there staring at you. My daughter has also experienced the same in this store this is our go to boots and we have spent a considerable amount in this store in future we will be shopping elsewhere .

Boots refused to accept private prescription even though they have accepted it many times in past, lady on counter told me that its against boots policy to accept private prescription. This is first time I heared this

I went to Boots in the market place today and was served by the most arrogant sales advisor.
Rude, condesending,flippent I could go on!
I picked up a prescription yesterday expecting it to be the one prescribed by the Dr the same morning and the Dr said it had gone straight to the chemist. However it was another one I didn't know my Husband had waiting to be picked up. My Husband noticed the meds when he opened the bag when I got home.
I asked the woman why was I not given both prescriptions and [melanie] was her name at you Bolton store rudley said we have to order what you need as we don't have the amount in store requested by the Dr!
I replied you could have said yesterday I would need to wait out of courtesy!!
She abruptly answered yet again I served you yesterday and I asked her not to be rude nor speak to me abruptly and she again rudely said I am telling you the order wasn't on the computer to give you.
It definately was there as she was already too quick to answer and knew exactly what I was going to say! Own up and say you made a mistake and your sorry! honesty and transparency is better than getting customers annoyed with a terrible attitutde

Only a small Boots store, but there's a good selection of products and staff are always wonderful. There is often a queue for the pharmacy so make sure to give yourself extra time.
