Aldi has come along nicely since the 90s. They have bargain s on horse riding gear from time to time and scented candles are a must...they fill up rooms with amazing scent..groceries are nice too..try it

Very bad customer service.
Called in to try aldi, emptied my trolly onto the belt went to the other end placed 2 bags for life into trolly ready to fill when asked can I lift my bags up unsure of what she wanted me to do said what for, as I had just put them in, in front of her. She pulled the trolley around to the side of her and again said can you lift your bags it?s policy, when I said I?ve never had anything like this in any other store she said ?I was very rude and after I had filled the 2 bags said she didn?t like my attitude and should we just let people steal things and was not going to serve me and walked of, another male staff member came and said what?s going on, when I said nothing I just asked why she wanted me to lift my bags, his reply was people leave things underneath and say they didn?t know I said that?s accusing people of stealing he said he was also not going to serve me . When I said ?do you want to empty the bags and look underneath ?he said no I emptied the bags out and said I won?t be coming again he said ?good? . They must of been having a bad day but no excuse. Should of gone to self scan not sure what the lifting of bags policy is on them.
