Zero stars in reality.
A lot of staff within the last 20 years both young and more experienced have been disgusting and shocking on more than one occasion.
That goes for the post office inside as well.
No longer much variety in what is sold.

I visited this store to use the post office and received the worst service and the longest waiting time. Myself along with others had a whole wait of 1 hour and 30 mins just to send a parcel!!! It was shocking that after waiting for 1 hour the worker told us that she would not get through us all despite we had been waiting that long. In the end, myself along with others who had also been waiting for a long amount of time were turned away?I work in retail myself and I have to say this is the worse customer service I have ever seen! I understand there was only one lady working, however there should be some procedure in place to ensure customers are not being turned away after being stood up in a queue for 90 minutes straight! I have to say I will never be using this post office again. 8 counters empty, with only 1 member of staff working?if customers can see a problem with this surely management should too and recruit or get workers in? This has also been a reoccurring issue with people I know going too. If anyone is thinking of going I would advise going to a different post office in your area, to avoid these bizarre waiting times?especially to avoid getting turned away after a 90 minute wait.

i have been trying to get my sia badge i have sumbited my sia application i have been going everyday for the last 2weeks but the staff are very rude dont do nothing just say the system is not working some times they say there internet is not working they just dont do nothing i phone to the Ashton under lyne post office to confirm that the its working they tell me it is working when i go to the post office they tell me its not and a women picks up she was very disrepectfull i asked her a Question she said i cant answer you it i told her she cant speak to a customer like this she just cut the call next day i went in they just dont bother the women there are very rude

Rude staff...the same like the post office...I try to send parcel first class doesn't arrive at all to the sender....they send it to wrong address...Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Never ever use the Post Office Counter in this shop unless you are faced with a life or death situation. I have never encountered such useless staff anywhere. having spent 10 minutes this morning waiting to be served and having just got to the head of the queue someone jumped in front of me and when I pointed out where the queue was he said it was ok because he needed to do some banking. I again pointed him to the queue only to be told by the cashier that because the guy needed to bank he could be served immediately. Why have a queuing system? The second cashier then came out and told me to move to the back of the queue, at which point I decided to take my business to a more customer friendly Post Office Counter. I know that post office staff have a reputation for being rude and offhand but this place is in a different league. Customer care training is definitely needed here or even better close the store completely.

I stood at the counter waiting to be served for a scratch card. Which is slightly two the right of the till closest to the door. No one else was waiting at the time a person came to the first till and two women went to the left of and were seved ahead of me when I mentioned it to the person serving she said No Bother....no bother I said perhaps I'm sorry might have been more appropriate....no customer service skills

3 members of post office staff are laughing their heads off about a story to do with customers who havemental health issue, making me wait several minutes before being seen. Unpleasant , unfriendly, unkind.

Shop was closed this morning with a sign saying 'temporary closure' and in the meantime we can shop online, but no date as to when it might reopen.
