I went to this store recently and had a very positive experience, the prices were fair and they had a good range of stock, and when I asked for assistance I was helped by a very nice employee called theo, they answered all of my questions and were very polite and patient with me. Overall a good experience, would recommend.

Waste of time lazy staff. First chance Ive had to call by instore at 3.30pm on Sunday 10th August 2025. I Walked in with £100 quid visible in one hand i picked up some bulbs in clearance then ordered 2 pressure sprayers while i was sorting the cash out on the counter so i was ready to fork out £52 in total. they went and fetched my order out then tell me sorry its card only now as we shut in 20 minutes. ...How ridiculous is this In other words we've cashed till up early so we can shoot off on time. I will never go in that store again and its shame as I have always recommended toolstation over screwfix. I've now changed my mind and won't be using them ever again or at least not the Ashton store. I've never heard of any such nonsense before. I run a rugby club with function rooms we can't afford to turn away business if people can't pay with a card obviously you can and you've now lost a good customer.

Me & my dad came in to purchase some 150mm fallopian tubes. I couldn't ask for a better service, top lads. They picked out the part... page 69 they found it on. It barely took them 5 minutes. Amazing service, wife's happy now.

Excellent Toolstation. Lots of stock, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious car park. Perfectly located near the Snipe, just off Lord Sheldon Way. Highly recommended!
