Unfortunately, I'm not happy with my purchase at the moment. I bought progressive glasses, so I should be able to see distance at the top and read at the bottom. When I look at the top, everything is fine, but when I look at the bottom, it blurs. When I picked up the glasses, I mentioned this, and was told I'd have to get used to them... unfortunately, after a week, nothing changed. Furthermore, the frame is crooked. I also noticed this when I picked them up, and they told me it was just a methinks. However, I'm not. I bought two glasses for the price of one, tailor-made lenses. I felt a bit upset when a friend told me she also bought two-in-one glasses and got a voucher for 50% off her next pair. She paid £150, I paid £335. She got a voucher, but I didn't. I have to go back to the salon. I hope everything will be fixed and I'll change my mind about the service.

Many thanks to Carole @ Specsavers Ashton-under-Lyne branch for her help today, after explaining to Carole my experience with a nearby opticians, Carole offered me an appointment as a walk in, she was very helpful efficient and listened...
The eye test was also smooth and very quick, I do think the extra £5 test should be included in the eye test, especially as people are really struggling with their money.

I like this opticians the staff are very friendly, and they offer a great range of frames. My only concern is that the enhanced eye tests come at an additional cost. I believe these should be included as part of the standard eye test, since prevention is always better than cure. Early detection can make a huge difference, and not everyone can afford to pay an extra five or ten pounds. Including it in the price would make it more accessible to everyone.

Fitted for toric contact lense, a quick, easy and professional service.In addition I re entry hadaway detached retina and was diagnosed used and redered to Manchester Royal Eye Hospital as an emergency and as a result the eyesight was saved in my right eye Ashton-under-Lyne Specsavers is an exemplary branch and will forever have my gratitude.

I am so satisfied and happy with the service. Easy to book an appointment and how quickly they are their jobs. Love the way how they treating with customers. The staff is so polite and kind. I love the drs service and their treatment. I got beautiful glasses. The quality of frame so nice. My family and friends ask about the frame. Everyone likes the style and color of frame. They booked me for collection of glasses and on exact time i got my glasses. One and last thing they informed us for appointment reminder that is brilliant way. Thanks specsavers.
