I am nationwide customer but I am very much disappointed from their banking system especially online banking and banking through app. You should upgrade this system at least follow in the foot steps on Halifax. I quit Halifax and started baking with Nationwide but now I am regretting my decision.
If you know that card reader is compulsory for making payments then why you didn't send it? You should give it to customer on the same account opening day from branch.
I am very disappointed with this kind of banking. Sorry

Called in at the branch today. Would have been a much more pleasant experience if the cashier could muster a small smile. Ah well, glad I don't visit the branch too frequently.

I am autistic and extremely anxious. Making calls confuses me and I was even crying for a long time before making this call. Daniel has been so helpful and kind and patient with me on the phone. Hope you read this Daniel you're a star !!! Thank you so much.

Very helpful staff and always willing to discuss matters away from the counter. Worth the journey from Glossop. As for customer comments about the branch being busy that's surely a positive? It means the branch won't be closed down !

I've been with Ashton under Lyne branch since 1972 so 51 years and have never had any problems with either the staff or the bank itself

I went here to transfer an I s a . There is no parking except pay and display car parks in the area. The entrance is for all people. I had to wait for a short time to get a cashier to assist me. When he eventually came the process was very fast ,easy and a couple of signatures.

I have been there once after checking their website the staff didn't know what was in the bank website gave me a completely different answers they need to update it or acknowledge the staff to the information that is in their website

What is the point of a high street bank with opening time outside of the working day.I?ve not visited a branch for a promptly 10 years but now how to and show a peice of paper (again not used a paper document for years)Just seems a pointless system. Nationwide are very outdated and behind the times.My main bank is fully online, why can?t nationwide get with the times and at least be able to interact with the 21st century.Once I?ve completed this transaction I?ll be closing the account.
