I am a wheelchair went in here for some lunch today there was a sign on the door saying no mobility scooters I enquired as to clarify what they meant they proceed to tell me I'm fine to sit because I'm a power chair not a mobility scooter I then order my food take it to the table to be told I can't sit at the table my wheelchair is too big. There were plenty of space and only me in there but my chair is too big I'd already clarify what the sign on the door meant but I still couldn't sit there in the end they did let me sit after fighting there point for 10 minutes but I felt so awkward I took a few bites and left crying using the excuse your wheelchair is to big is un acceptable I felt discriminated against and humiliated all for a life long condition I can't help will not be returning

Been com8ng here since the 1980s and always been a pleasure.
The last 3 visits in 3 weeks have been poor. The chips aren't chips. They are merely bits of sharp potato. Whatever settings on the machine the chips are tiny and hard. No where near worth the £16 for sausage and chips and curry and chips.

It's our favourite chippy in our little town.
The staff is always friendly, helpful, and respectful.
We often take away from this place.
Their fish and other dishes are so delicious

Went in today at tea time for pudding ,chips and gravy .the chips were awful they tasted like they had been made early in the day they were all bitty and dry .the pudding wasn't much better .it used to be really busy ages ago there was only one person it I won't be going back there for quite a while

The portion sizes are ridiculously small for what they charge. The overweight man that works in there is unwelcoming and abrupt. Not worth a visit
