Returning a faulty Iron after around six weeks of ownership. Told I need to contact the manufacturer and they won?t let me even exchange it.
Had to buy a new one from another retailer.
My rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
? Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
? If a product becomes faulty within the first 6 months, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund ? and it is the retailer?s responsibility, not the manufacturer?s.

Twice been to collect items. First time item was damaged before given to me and said don't want have you an other and they said go to another store and they will replace. Told want my money back instead.
The next time ordered said ready for collection and item wasn't there and told to go to another store as they had stock and they would sort it out for them. That meant pass the problem on to another store. Won't use this store again advise for to an other store

(Review concerning Argos)
Buy from here at your own risk. I was sold an item with missing parts. They do not answer the phone, and live chat is useless. They told me to return the whole item to store, refusing to acknowledge the fact I don't live to close to a store and would have to pay £20 to do so.
This could all be solved by them posting to me the missing parts, it would cost them maybe £2 to do so.
Argos are useless for aftersales care, they have zero customer service or support.
I will not be buying from them again, unless as a last resort.

We?ve purchased two Nintendo switch games for with no card readers. We went to snipe retail park the very next morning to get an exchange or refund and Zoe the manager was no help whatsoever. Wouldn?t do anything to help. The service was despicable. She should not be a manger

Rubbish service. Very unprofessional, inconsiderate, very lame attitude. Obviously, whoever is training you hasn't got a clue about customer service. My friends and family are no longer giving you the business that we have been providing you over the last 40 years or so. We are a very large family and we will take our business elsewhere.

Awful customer service. Rude staff. I bought a new fridge freezer as they advertised free recycling of old machine but they refused to take it. Then told me to return my new one and order it again to get free recycling. Absolute nut jobs!

Went back today to claim a mouse under a limited part 2-year warranty . I was completely shut down and was told it couldn't be done. Yet I had confirmation from logitech and argos support themselfs to state it could be exchanged for a new one.
Ended up going to an argos in Urmston and getting it sorted in less than 5 mins with zero argument or dispute of it not being able to be done. Avoid these incompetent humans as best as possible.

Very unpleasant manager Zoe, she treated me very badly, she was unkind and didn't listen to what I was saying to her, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because of a person like her!!!! I wanted to return a toy because it was broken and she didn't even listen to me what I was saying to her, probably because I am from another country and she is racist, I feel very bad now....

Very unpleasant staff, Zoe- the manager ???was not able to talk to the customer, she was very unpleasant and did not listen to what was said to her, who chooses such a person as a manager ? She can't control herself, she is haughty and uncultured we felt very bad she didn't even want to talk to us and hid in the back of store, we called to return the mattress she told us to bring it to the shop and then said she wouldn't accept it because it wasn't packed, how do you pack an open mattress? She told us to leave and by calling she knew he was open. No one has ever treated us so badly in our lives, such a person for a manager? Zero professionalism, I do not recommend this store because of her customer service, argos such a good shop and it loses because of people like her!!!

Don't stick to deliveries. Cant change to click and collect to my own area when they don't stick to what's paid for but apparently I can walk from Ashton Under Lyne to Middleton Depo (for there screw up). If i wanted my items anything from Tuesday to Friday i would have ordered that but i paid for delivery for the Monday as its the only day i have free to waste before my sons birthday. Nothing resolved in 3 phone calls but definitely more pissed off and more time wasted.
But their welcome to deliver at 9 pm when I'm home

I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service as I did from Julie the store manager and Charlotte. I have shopped from Argos for many years and they have always exceeded my expectations when it comes to customer service. I purchased an item and decided to return after 3 days, unused and in brand new condition. Firstly she didn?t even listen to anything I had to say, then accused me of lying and walked off half way. I then took the same item to another Argos branch and they kindly reviewed and returned without any issues. I mean why make rules up when there?s no need. I won?t be going to this branch anymore and I advise to go to an alternative Argos store where they know how to communicate with a customer.

Bought a hover online and it wasen't working as expectet ,came today to return it and the manager of this store Dona did not want to help at all if you open it you can't return it ,how do i know if te item is working without trying it but this managar did not want to help at all started to speak very very rude with her explanation tying not to help at all. I am an Argos costumer for 12 years never had a bad experience as this one what a shame .

BUYERS BEWARE!
They sold me a stolen product and then practically accused me of being a criminal in the middle of the store in the presence of other customers.
The 'managers' attitude was appalling - I would never want someone like that working for my company!
Luckily, with a bit of self-investigation, I was able to return to store and prove my findings before being refunded for the item. I will never purchase from Argos again.
