There was absolutely no need to shut the door in my face when opening your store this morning Friday 28th February. It wasn't my fault that the lady was late starting work ( 15 minutes for reference ) . I was on time and had been waiting to post a parcel and was perfectly entitled to coming in and use the Post Office, nevermind your abysmal shop ! . Rude , rude jobsworth lady ( brown bob , glasses ) and condescending . Hope she reads this and reflects on how to treat people.

I was there yesterday asking if I can make a subscription for the magazine, and one of the ladies told me that they don't do, and she was finding lots of reasons why they don't do subscriptions, I told her that I had a subscription in my local Wh Smith in Sale and they didn't have any problem doing this for me or for other customers, but they are closing now Wh Smith in Sale and I'm looking another one where I can do my subscription. My question is, is that just a goodwill of the people that work I Wh Smith to do a subscription for the customers or is that a normal practice that I can do this in every single one shop ?

Rude grumpy miserable staff when lucky enough to flag one down. Seems to be a shocking inconvenience to have come to the desk and serve a customer. Some of the more mature staff are the most rude. Younger seasonal employees are more helpful but few and far between.

Overall very dissatisfied. Issue regarding the post office - as a regular customer I point out that there are long queues of around 15-20 minutes each time I come on. This is very frustrating when only one person is serving despite there being 2-3 people on shift. Today I queued for 25 minutes to post a parcel! There was only one staff member serving when another was on shift and there was an extremely long line! On a few occasions the staff have been demeaning as if talking down to you. I will be taking my custom elsewhere, 25 minutes is outrageous and there was no attempt to speed up the service.

I came from Canada and went to sell few 100$ canadian dollars and this old lady named Julie was extremely rude to me . She had no manners at all . She said to me that why did i bring so much money it could be a money laundry ? Like only 1500$ canadian dollars ???? Of course it?s for my holiday ?. I was very disappointed ?? this lady is becoming the cause to loose customer. She really needs to learn manners or stay at home. This job should be given to a deserving person.

Rude Demeaning StaffNeeded to purchase something but wasnt familiar with the shop. I approached the lady at the front checkout to ask and she turned her eyes to the side looking elsewhere while i was talking. Made me feel like i was wrong to think i had any importance or any right to talk to her.Found what i needed and went back to the checkout and the same woman was at the till. Because i was right in front of them it was obvious they were ignoring me so i went to a self-service till. Felt awful afterwards.Reluctantly i had to go back another time for the post office. Not much i can say other than disappointed to be in a queue of 20 people and only one person serving.

I went in to use the post office it was quiet so served quickly. The staff where helpful.Then I went down stairs to check for a magazine which they only had last months. I checked out other offers as I wanted to see what ranges they stock. I was pleasantly surprised to see what was on offer.
