I normally love buying books and visiting Waterstones but today I was left very upset by the customer service I received. The assistant at the till was rude and dismissive. She was surly and wouldn't even direct me to the general area in the store where I could find the book I was looking for. Everyone can have a bad day... read full comment

Lovely bookshop with cafe upstairs. Well laid out and clean and tidy. Lift available for wheelchair and pushchair access to upstairs books and cafe.
