I would like to compliment a lovely lady from the Altrincham branch of nationwide, who came out and and apologised to the queue of people for the delay (as there where 2 people taking forever) I was next in line and was asked if she be of any help whilst I was waiting, I told her i was bringing in my probate licence and form, she offered her condolences chatted with me gave me a. Hug asked me Did I want I drink what an excellent gesture, she did not have to say or do anything but she did, blonde haired lady, on the 23rd July. 2025, around 2pm.

Staff behind glass seemed friendly and helpful and I told them I wanted to speak to someone about all of my accounts and update them. They told me I'd be seen for a slot in approximately 5 minutes and I should wait on the seats at the front. Waited patiently for half an hour and still wasn't seen, despite over 3 people walking in after me and being seen to. Told staff behind the glass that I'd waited long enough and I was leaving, they were apologetic and said they didn't know what happened but it wasn't good enough and I left. Major communication problems and won't go to this branch again.

It's used to be excellent, but now it is closed on both Fridays and Saturdays......The saving interest rates are no more competitive either.
