The shop was clean and efficiently run with excellent customer service. We order 2 cod and a large chips (massive portion). The fish was flaky and fresh, and the batter was crispy and light. Overall amazing experience, would definitely recommend.

First visit to the Coral. I noticed a strange smell hit me whilst they were preparing the food, at the point they took the fish out of their refrigeration unit. Unfortunately after purchasing fish and chips I noticed a strange smell coming from the food as i walked home. On arriving at home and opening up the food, the fish had a terrible smell and was clearly off. The smell was so strong the downstairs of our house reeked. I will not return to this take away establishment. They should have recognised via the smell that they were using out of date fish and clearly not following standard food hygene rules & care for their customers.

Second time we have used Coral and it?s the second time part of our order has been missing. Completely unacceptable to get all the way home for your ordered food to not be there.

Disgusting staff attitude took 10min to notice I was stood there wanting to ordered when she took my order cash only went to get cash and when I came back after 10-15 min still not ready when bought it home it was over cooked and also be aware that there chips in most places is actually a small but they charge for a large better go somewhere else will never ever come back rude disgusting staff

Not the cheapest fish and chips I have ever eaten, but the quality was very high indeed. The haddock, in particular, was absolutely beautiful. A case of getting what you pay for. The fixed tables are a bit of a squeeze for the less mobile and anyone with a serious disability would struggle. However, there are also tables outside on the terrace with tons of legroom. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Would be happy to go back any time.

We went as a family to sit inside on one of the big booths. The lady was extremely rude implicating there was no room for a pram. There were a couple of other families sat inside with prams already but rather than ask us nicely to leave this outside, she made it very clear that we were not welcome. On asking where she would prefer for us to sit, she was rude again and her tone very inappropriate in front of young children. She offered no alternative option other than for us to leave. This is not the first time we have encountered rude behavior from staff. It is a shame as the food is good but not worth the attitude!!
