This is a brilliant independent local business.No job is too much trouble and they always give honest, helpful advice even if it means they do themselves out of a sale.Great for getting keys cut, engraving done, shoes reheeled etc and have never let me down.We'll lose this type of shop if we don't support them!

Absolutely lovely service. Patrick was extremely informative and didn?t attempt to upsell me which I appreciate. Just collected my shoes which needed a re-sole and re-heel and they look brand new. Looks like they gave them a nice polish aswell which i didnt ask for so thank you for that. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of shoe repairs. 10/10 service and 10/10 for the work they did aswell. Very happy.

Looking to get my boots re-healed. Went to Timptons in Sainsburys and was quoted £16 but she was unable to repair as she had an arm injury and there was no one else to cover. So fortunately, I found Sole to Sole who quoted me £11 and did them whilst I waited as I then decided to get the boots I was wearing done also. Happy with new heals.

My Parents did me a solid and dropped round two pairs of vintage shoes for these guys to reheel for me today. Not only did he do a great job he was so fast! they were ready in about an hour!. One was a pair of black 60s chunky heeled flats and another was a pair of yellow 70s stilletto sandals. He not only did a seamless job of reheeling both he re-blacked the trim (don't know the technical term) round the sole and the heel of the flats. They look brand new now and I can't wait to wear them! Thank you! The downside of having a vintage shoe obsession is finding a cobbler you can trust with something that's sometimes 80 + years old and irreplaceable. I had a pair of beautiful snakeskin early 1940s heels which survived a war, but not Timpsons, who shredded all the snakeskin the entire way up the heel shaft, absolutely ruining the shoe and the buggers still charged me for reheeling and I've been wary about getting things done ever since. I'd need to go in and chat to these guys myself but I have a feeling that my fragile silk 1950s stilettos would be in safe hands.

I brought two ford key blanks in to get cut and both keys were cut incorrectly. Apparently the brass was "too hard" according to the owner after the key was jettisoned from his machining tool. That was the first one as shown in the photos. The second one, after his repeated grumbling about Chinese metal after ruining the first key, went much the same way as well. In fairness to the gentleman, he did offer to order new blanks, but any semblance of faith in his competence to get the job done had already evaporated. Given the length of time they've been plying this trade, you would reasonably expect a job of this relative simplicity to be straightforward. I would not recommend them for getting keys cut.
