Consistently good service. Counter staff are helpful and polite and waiting time for service is usually short except at peak lunch times.Also easy to make appointments with a bank manager when required.

rude unhelpful man on the door today when my daughter asked for a statement or headed letter with her name on to register at the local GP practice. She was told to go online and do it ...for 1 she doesnt do online banking and for 2 there was nowhere for her to request anything to be posted . Went back down with her to get it sorted but now close at 2pm ... looking into changing banks and maybe finding one with better customer care

called to pay some money into my partners account (she was away at the time and needed some money paid into her account) which i had done on occasions before. only to be told you cant pay money into anyones account except your own! in the end went to santander (her friend has a account with them) and paid it into her account with no problem at all.now i cant pay in money into her account which i do when she ill or maybe away as she is sometimes. so she will have to close her account with nationwide and open one with a bank who will allow this.

Lost my debit card last night , contacted Nationwide this morning , staff were great , dealt with the cancellation straight away, no problem . Excellent service *****
