We ordered a lamb dish and a prawn dish. The meat in both couldn't have been tougher if it was microwaved after being cooked. The curry in Wetherspoons was far better, came with a pint and cost far less. I have no idea how this place got it's higher rating.

The food was really nice and really quick but the chicken jhalphrasi we had barely had chicken, all tomatoes and other things, prawn cocktail also barely had prawn in it. We had 2 lamb tikka,2 chicken Tikka, 1 prawn cocktail, 1 chicken jhalphrasi, 3 pilau rice and 3 keema naan. The food came really quick and apart from the jhalphrasi and prawn cocktail everything was absolutely delicious and worth every penny.
The service gets 5/5 for that, the atmosphere was not bad and gets 4/5 because they were playing breakup songs which in my preference doesn?t go well at a place you go to enjoy. And food gets 4/5 for the tikka masalas.
Would definitely come again but maybe won?t try the jhalphrasi and prawn cocktail.

I've been coming to the Meghna since 2010's and nothing else compares. The best papadum, best saag aloo and the staff are always so lovely! This is my number 1 take away in the area.

I just wanted to share a thought. I would ask anyone who would like to book a table at Meghna restaurant please use their website to book a table. Do not book it on Google since restaurant don?t get notified once again in order to avoid disappointment. Please book a table via restaurants website Not Google.

Fantastic meal at a really good price point.
Everything was beautifully cooked, and my Shashlik Masala was exceptional. Really smokey, tender meat in a rich and delicious sauce.
Staff were really attentive and accommodating - we had drinks, papad and (very tasty) chutneys within 5 minutes of sitting down, and we really got the impression that the staff took pride in their work, their food and their restaurant.
Thoroughly enjoyed, and will be returning ASAP
