Surprisingly bad for a Costa

Popped in lunchtime for a couple of drinks and a slice of cake. It was fairly quiet. Not very friendly staff. I'd probably go elsewhere next time for that reason. Cake was nice, strawberry and vanilla, drinks were average.

I went it for a cookie and a drink yesterday, it was nice. Nice location, right in the high street. Staff were nice, sometimes away from the register. I like the seating options, there are plenty - we sat in the corner of the cafe, when you walk in and then left. Overall, I?d visit again!

Lovely service today from the two guys working, greeted with a warm smile and fast efficient service. Relaxing place to have a drink. I had the Mango Cooler.

I saw the lady today (9 March) with curley shoulder length hair clear tables of cups and plates, but not once wipe a table to clean a table. Our table had crumbs left from previous customers, as were other tables she cleared of cups. This is basic hygiene! Very disappointed.

Today was my first time trying Costa coffee I was served by a lovely lady Narges , she showed great customer service and made me a very nice cup of coffee . I will definitely be coming here for my daily coffees now .

I go in to Costa twice a week with my client who has dementia staff know us well. I was very upset today how one of the staff spoke to me he was very rude. Telling me that this is not Claridges London because I asked for a few things to be done. I am always polite when I go there but this episode has put me off and I will be going elsewhere from now on. Most of the staff are very nice but this man was very rude. Worked today at 2pm was going home at around 2.30 as I saw him leave. Not very good at all. There also seems to be a shortage of cakes for a while now.

Georgina served us today with a happy and positive attitude. Our coffee was great and staff were helpful.

I ordered the vegan bosh toastie to go. The staff were friendly, the service was quick and the toastie tasted very good.

Dietary restrictions: A couple of vegan options but not a lot
