Conall and Mathew looked after us and our dog very well. The food was delicious and well presented and we enjoyed our lunch. The bone marrow starter was great and the roasts just right. Happy to recommend this comfy spot.

Had a fantastic time at Curtains Up Pub! The food and drinks were spot on, but what really stood out was the service?Mathew was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience better from start to finish. I?ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Excellent service by Ray, he attended us very considerately, food was very good, with the chilli chicken being my favourite out of the dishes I had, and the beers were very nice too, I personally liked the peach flavored one. Would def recommend.

We visited today with our 2 daughters for our wedding anniversary. We lived on the road the pub is on and wanted to show the girls where we lived & went to in the local area. Ray was fantastic, very welcoming, friendly & interested in our story. He made the visit very special.....and the chips were amazing!

Stumbled upon this charming English pub and couldn?t be happier we did?what an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, with warm lighting, traditional decor, and a relaxed buzz that made us feel right at home.
The service was spot on?friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It?s clear the staff takes pride in what they do. As for the food, it exceeded all expectations. The chef clearly knows their craft. I ordered the burger, which was perfectly cooked?juicy, flavorful, and served with crispy fries. My partner had the chicken pie, and it was a standout dish?golden pastry, rich filling, and seasoned to perfection.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. We?ll definitely be returning!
