Been coming to this Specsavers for over 30years. To be very honest it's been going down hill for years. Went a few days ago for a 10:25 appointment. Arrived early as they stated. Wasn't seen for another half an hour. Then I kind of got the impression they wanted me to change or buy new glasses. As the opticians kept making a point that I haven't changed my frames since 2018. Ok yes it's been a while I have had the same frames because I looked after them and they are perfectly fine. I kind of got the impression she slightly changed my prescription to force me to pick new glasses. I even mentioned before from the same position in bed I use to struggle to read the TV guide clearly without my glasses but now I easily can. So if anything I thought my eyesight has improved. Anyway she was adamant that my eye sight has got worse. I just fail to understand how when I can see better than I ever could. I really left there feeling it was all a sales tactic to only slightly change my prescription to force me into purchasing a new pair for hundreds of pounds only because I haven't changed my pair since 2018. With no change in prescription since with annual testing. I walked out not purchasing and will be booking another appointment elsewhere to compare the prescriptions.

1 hour wait for a 3 minute check up/test (yes sat here and timed it as this was the only thing I can do. Avoid booking any appointments here as it means nothing. I had an appointment/test booked for 10am which I had to make to purchase contact lenses. So I took time off work for the time THEY agreed on. It has been an hour of waiting to get a simple test done. This isn?t the first occasion as reflected by other reviews, this is a constant problem with this location. The older person next to me was told ?you will be seen shortly the optometrist is stuck in traffic? after also waiting for an hour. The people are lovely but that only gets you so far. I?d rather they say waiting time is 1-2 hours don?t book in, but you?re only told last minute when you come to your appointment so you can?t do anything about it and if you have taken time off work? good luck.

Very disorganised. I book an appointment for 1025 at wembley high road Specsavers and I?m still sitting and waiting by 12 NOON. Really? I had to approach one of the staff since no one bothers to approach me giving me an indication of when i could possibly be seen. I was told there?s 1 more patient before me! Wow. She also alas me off I wanted to rebook my appointment come back another day! Honestly I?m lost for words with this kind of service in 2023. Not recommended at all. I?m not sitting here waiting again.

I have never had a problem with specsaver but this time they cancelled my appointment 4 times , every time I go there they say the person who supposed to see is off sick and they say that they have called me which they have not. Rubbish service. I have cancelled all my appointments with them. Never go there again.

Bad service ,they called for appt but they don?t have enough staff and waiting for one hour ,i have my son ,me and my daughter appt and it?s take 3hr for all of us .No choice of frame ,they hardly get good frames now

I always have a hard time getting through to them on the phone. When I do get through to them, I am told conflicting messages to when I head into the store. I am going away and needed some lenses urgently. My ones were out of stock (They are rarely kept in stock). I asked for any other lenses but found out that apparently the lenses check only signs me off on the brand of lens I tried!!! Apalling!! So now to get any other lenses I will need to pay and re-do a lenses test. Pay again for another test if I go to another lenses brand lol. Did not look after my needs as I left without lenses despite having done my test with them and purchased lenses from them. I don't recommend.

I went wembley space saver more then 10 year.But for last 7year my experience is very bad.And they treat like cusomer to kick out as quickely as possible.Particularly show the prescription and pricing .Eye testing is still good.But rest of the service day by day degraded.

Waited a long time but felt completely ignored. The lady in front confirmed that I came for the hearing test and sighed with disappointment. I was sat down at the end of the store. Appointment was running late but no update or anything. I saw previous customers leaving, the doctor went out of the room to took payment in the waiting area which looks very unsafe. Then instead of even say hi went back I the room. At this point I was ready to go into the room for my appointment that was already late but instead another member of the team went in and chatted for 20 minutes so I simply left. It was totally unwelcoming and very unprofessional service. Never coming back!

Terrible. Loyal customer for over 10 years. Appointments are always running late. Took a break, went to another opticians, came back and its the same. Booked an appointment and waited an hour. There was no staff around (they were all having lunch). Why would they all go for lunch at the same time and have an appointment slot available for that time if they themselves are not available at that time?

Waited over a week for an appointment for new Contact Lenses, representative confirmed she will consult with previous branch for current eye test prescription. Turn up and advised they cannot help as they are unable to locate prescription, would need to book another eye test for a later date then proceed with looking at Contact Lenses. Utter waste of time, the reply to this will be the generic reply used on all poor reviews.
