I?ve been a loyal fan of New Royal Fried Chicken for years, and I have to say, the recent refurbishment has taken things to a whole new level. What was already a solid local favourite has now become something truly special.
The interior has been beautifully updated ? cleaner, brighter, and with a more modern, welcoming vibe. It still holds on to that familiar charm, but now with a fresh look that makes you want to sit in and enjoy your meal. You can tell they?ve put care into refining the place without losing what made it great to begin with.
As always, the food hits the spot. The chicken is just how it should be ? crispy on the outside, juicy and flavourful on the inside. The chips are golden perfection, and the sauces? Don?t even get me started ? addictive. Whether you?re grabbing a quick bite or having a proper meal, everything is made fresh and served with a smile.
The staff are friendly, fast, and clearly take pride in the shop. There?s a real sense of community here, and it shows in the service and the quality of the food.
New Royal Fried Chicken has always been a go-to for me, but now it feels like a crown jewel of the area. If you haven?t been since the revamp, do yourself a favour and stop by ? you won?t be disappointed.

Ordered a big meal, but they didn?t provide enough tissues. When I politely requested more, they responded rudely. Plus, the food was way too oily and packed with cornflour. Not worth it.
