As everyone is saying, Mary at the front desk seems to be the confused one. Couldn?t even do an isa transfer which is done in branch. She had no interest and tells you to just call Halifax, why employ someone who can?t even do their job!

It doesn't even deserve a star. The woman at the desk named Mary has a very arrogant attitude, she doesn't listen to your problem, she treats you badly. I went once and she said she couldn't help me call Halifax by phone, I was clearly told by phone that only the branch can solve my problem. Then I came back and a boy with long hair in a ponytail (sorry I don't remember his name) tried to help me and he succeeded, I only had to bring proof of address to which again Mrs. Mary said that it was not good (it was a council tax bill) and very rude and arrogant she said to bring something else. Thanks to the guy who solved my problem, the rest does not deserve its place there. Avoid Wembley branch.

Today morning I popped up to bank regarding my debit card issue. I faced vary unprofessional discussion with help desk customer care officer. I don?t like to mention what she mentioned it?s is really hurting me.
Fortunately one lady (Ms Smita) came and solve the problem within just 30 seconds and showed her professionalism.
The help desk officer really doesn?t care the complaint and try to show off her power rather than solving the problem.
Bank should provide training and educate the help desk officers how to handle the problems rather than show off their egos
We expect quality service and better customer relationships

Terrible service , i went in branch to investigate why my cash isa letter hadn?t come to me in the post despite the system having both my address and me confirming my new, the customers service lady treated me like i was clueless, when i spoke to her collage a lovely lady with a Irish accent and explained to her what happened she was very understanding, and laughed when i made joke. A course in how to speak to people in a with manners and respect no matter what age wouldn?t be to bad.

Extremely poor customer service, not welcoming and were rude- didn?t seem bothered or interested in helping me and were very blunt, made me feel like I was a disturbance when I was inquiring information particularly Mary. Please be kinder to your customers.

Despicable attitudine towards people they suppose to help, because that?s literally their job. They apparently would change a £10 note into two of £5 only if you?re banking with them (which is a lie, easy to verify). I never ever have encountered such rudeness.

Rude bank staff.Need retraining in politeness as gives the impression that customers are a hassle and they dont like their jobs. However the financial Advisors are really polite and professional. I travel to Halifax Harrow

A couple of rude staff who sit around doing nothing and when asked for help tend to take their time, as if the customer has lots of time to spare. Horrible customer service and what is appalling is that in spite of so many bad reviews about rude staff, nothing is being done about it.

Was a victim of a scam on their card machine outside. Please be aware, scammers seemed to be able to influence the machine when they went - had my card stuck in the machine then had money taken out of my card afterwards (told police and contacted my bank) and then later can see others using the machine as normal.
Went in to inform the staff of this so they will be aware so no other victims - was told that the bank knows and ?this happens all the time?, was also told ?why are you crying?.
Obviously scams happen but rude attitude from staff and bank is supposedly aware of this scam???

Halifax wembley branch is giving very very very bad service specially at help desk lady she is rude and staff is not co-operative at all if you have enough documents either! Never ever want to go this place ever!

There was a Staff named Bindiya who was behaving as its the bank is doing a favor on us by opening the account. She had a problem because we filled the form incorrectly and she had to do it all over again as if it's not her job. Being in bank the front office has to be little polite with customers rather than being rude and arrogant.... I had a lot of expectations from bank as its knows for mortgage but now I am hesitant to even enquire due to my bad and bitter experience. Giving 1 star as there is no option for zero star.
