They sold me faulty item and then didn't give me a replacement despite being listed as available in stock in the store. Wasted time for nothing

The shelves are disorganised. Items do not appear in the correct section, nor do they appear in the correct order. The staff are not particularly helpful.

Attended this branch last week looking for a new eletronical device. I was served by Kyi and was given prestigious customer service. His knowledge on product options and attentiveness added to me as a customer being satisfied with the whole shopping experience. Diamonds Fella thanks again. Also the shop was neatly organised noticed that as soon as i went in.

I came to this store as I bought a faulty laptop with a screen that didn't work from another cex store and this store had a similar one I could refund it for. The lady at the counter told me to wait till 5o clock for them to check it over it was 1o clock at this time. I thought it a bit strange as other cex stores I had sold to only take an hour to test hardware and that's if I'm trading something in. There was only 2 other customers in the store at the time so not busy. I just wanted a replacement for a faulty product they sold me. So I go around the town for a bit come back at 5 and the lady said it's going to be another half hour so I wait half hour then they say it's going to be 15 minutes and finally when that time has passed they say they can't do anything until Monday when there manager is in bearing in mind it was a Saturday that day and I had travelled from Watford so I just take the laptop back and took it into another store where they sorted it in 2 hours and gave me a better model for a reduced price. If you have things to trade in or faulty products that need replacing bring it to another cex and don't waste your time the people in wembley cex don't even know what there doing the lady tried plugging the power cable into an audio jack and said the cable I brought with me doesn't fit so I had to explain where the power socket was and when I said the laptop screen doesn't work she said did try playing another game I mean I can't even access windows ? ridiculous.

Wembley branch. Went to sell a playstation 2 & after waiting 1.5 hours for the Pakistani girl to test it, she told me I would have to wait a further 1.5 hours. After hearing lie after lie about the delay, I questioned why so incompetent, it doesn't even have Internet just needs to be plugged in for a test. She told me there wasn't any space. At that moment a Pakistani woman came to sell some odd bits & was told testing for her would be 1 hour. I called blatant racism, this is more than incompetence. The manager stepped in & tested my ps2 in under a minute, meaning I waited 1.5 hours for her amusal. Not happy with service will avoid this shop & wembley in general

I?m writing this review to inform prospective shoppers about the dishonest business practices I experienced with the store?s management.
I visited the store to purchase a USB-C cable to connect my laptop to an external video display. I clearly explained to the sales assistant that my current cable did not support video output, and I specifically needed one that did. The sales assistant admitted he wasn?t sure whether their cables supported video, but suggested I purchase one and keep the packaging, assuring me that I could return it for a refund if it didn?t work.
Unfortunately, the cable they sold me did not support video transmission. When I returned to the store to request a refund, the manager informed me that they only issue refund coupons, not cash or card refunds. The coupon can only be used for in-store or online purchases.
Had I known about this policy beforehand, I would not have risked buying a product they themselves weren?t sure about. Now I?m stuck with a £9 store voucher I have no use for and no interest in spending.
Please be aware of this misleading and inconvenient return policy before shopping at this store.

The indian woman there denied me for an 18+ game even though I had a bank statement, another staff member didn?t ask me for identification and I already have a CEX card which was not looked up on their system.
